I too ended up with the freezing fridge fan! The reason Samsung won't fix is because it is a slow leak in refrigerant. Once a little low it starts freezing! I tried several things. Finally hooked up a piercing tap, added a small amount of r134-a to bring low side from negative 8 inches of vacuum, I added until it was at zero when fridge is at max cool. 2 days later, 5c, 25c, and 39c codes did not return! And it defrosted itself and removed the block of ice after 2 days. I removed cover and could not believe there was no chunk of ice! Mine is a 2015 model. And I have had this problem for the last 3 years! I spent about $150 in bandaid parts that never fully fixed what was causing the problem. That is why it takes sometimes 5 years to show up. Because slow leak somewhere we can't access. Now go top off you're freon, and enjoy you're Samsung fridge again!
