When I was 7 my father was diagnosed with brain cancer. He died when I was 17 after an unbelievable battle. In 2021, my mother died from Covid. 4 days ago I was told my only sibling, my sister, was murdered by her husband. This song has been my anthem of late. I just turned 40 2 weeks ago, so only halfway there... I'm a million miles from home, which I will have to recreate. I'm a million miles from where I came from. I've seen more troubles...Yet, I have a wonderful wife and two amazing children, followed the yellow brick road to my own city of gold and own multiple businesses. I have made my way, knowing the joy that is every morning I simply wake up. I have a million miles to go...and I have seen enough joy to just keep going.
