The ending of the book and the epilogue have a 12 year difference, and I was thinking if this ever gets adapted, I would love for this to be the song covering everything that happens post Kennedy presidency. To watch these two grow old and take stock of the changes they brought. So much so, I started to cry. I’m writing this to get out my frustrations at the world, and to give a second life to two people taken too soon, not only for themselves, but all of us too. I hope to have it out soon, but I think it’s a reminder that we all know life can be better and we have to live for those no longer with us. RIP Avicii.

I was still listening to his music in 2020 when I learned that he had died in 2018. My parents were listening to an orchestral mashup of all of his songs and I made them play it over and over until they flat refused, and then I went to bed and listened to his music for hours and just cried. Like so many of you, this man made a massive impact on my life and has for so long inspired me as a musician. I will never forget how heartbroken I was when I finally figured it out, but then again, I will always remember the way my chest swells when his genius hits my ears. Avicii may be dead, but he will never be gone. He is survived by us in the rhythm of our hearts and our refusal to forget just what he's done for us. He may be dead, but in us, he lives eternal.

Avicii’s music gives me a feeling that no other music does. I can’t exactly describe it but I can distinguish everydayness, simplicity, euphoria and nostalgia along with traces of melancholy. A certain thing however, is that it brings back the happiest memories of your whole life, no matter how hard times you’ve been though!
For people that are asking "How is the video relatable to the song?".The act of him painting those sentaces on the wall can be seen as him looking back on his former self,and what he held dear.And then in the end when he looks back on all the things he did and sees that all his memories and actions lead him to that exact moment(hence the portrait made of him out of his memories).

This was my favorite song in 2014, so sad to see that today, Avicii died. I'd loved so many of his songs, and now I'm commenting to say rest in peace, you made amazing songs.

Avicii’s music gives me a feeling that no other music does. I can’t exactly describe it but I can distinguish everydayness, simplicity, euphoria and nostalgia along with traces of melancholy. A certain thing however, is that it brings back the happiest memories of your whole life, no matter how hard times you’ve been though!

For people that are asking "How is the video relatable to the song?".The act of him painting those sentaces on the wall can be seen as him looking back on his former self,and what he held dear.And then in the end when he looks back on all the things he did and sees that all his memories and actions lead him to that exact moment(hence the portrait made of him out of his memories).
