    What tires are those? They look really nice, I like how they are a bit more rounded at the edges compared to most ;) I got the Stinger, mostly because of availability here. Thanks for the video!

      Thanks for the comment! The little Bronco is running the Proline Baja Pro X 1.0 tires. They seem to do well on this rig, it's got a bit of weight to it and it's got the Crawler Innovation FIRM foams.

      @@havikhobbies Thanks! Sounds like my wallet will keep bleeding :D I really liked your review. I feel like there are too many people in the mini crawler space getting things sent to them and reviewing them a bit biased. Still entertaining but I'm grateful for your honest opinions. Looking forward to more TRX4m content :)

      @@timebert1132 Thank you I couldn't agree more. Even folks who say they are unbiased are being bought when they receive free product. When you purchase a product with your hard earned dollars you can review it fairly IMO.

    Very interesting review however the furitek hands down is the way to go adjustable and Bluetooth connectivity a win win no brained and it’s fully adjustable so it can be moved from rig to rig to rig

      Thanks for watching mate! I disagree that choosing Furitek is a "hands down, no brainer". Furitek ESC's are great and I have a couple of them, and enjoy running them. However they are not perfect and that lead me to see what else is out there, and I'm so glad I did! The Dinky RC ESC is very good, very adjustable and 2-4s capable for $47.50. I have nothing against Furitek its just nice to have more options!

    Did you mount that outrunner to the stock transmission? I couldnt get mine to fit, hits the driveshaft.

    • @havikhobbies
      @havikhobbies  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes I did mount to the stock transmission, however it was not an easy install and I had to make a hybrid front driveshaft with a CR18 universal joint at the transmission end and stock traxxas CV joint at the axle end. That's the main reason I have not promoted this motor for the TRX4M platform as it's not drop in replacement. Great motor but not a strait swap in these trucks. Thanks for your comment!

      @@havikhobbies thank you for the reply. I ordered the injora 370 tall transmission. I think it will fit the HH280 revolver.

    To help the foc jump go in and adjust your low speed setting to about 30% this will help greatly with the jump and put start up at low

    • @havikhobbies
      @havikhobbies  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The settings chosen in the Furitek app are very dependent on the rig your running it in. Motor choice and final drive ratio have a huge impact on what settings work and what doesn't.

      Yea, you can tune it to where the FOC is only noticed when you are near full throttle. So not noticeable when slow speed crawling.

      I can definitely try to get a video together. What is your setup? Truck, gearing, motor etc. Thanks for watching!

    • @isaiah9313
      @isaiah9313 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@havikhobbies the fairly common dinky with smp stock transmission gear ratio, and then ogrc axles which have 23% over drive. I ran stock axles even and had the same stalling/cogging. Basically the truck struggles under any load and lacks torque and I'm using tattu batteries like dinky recommended. I get excited to see when you upload, videos are always super informational and I just enjoy the crawling footage 👊👊

    • @havikhobbies
      @havikhobbies  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@isaiah9313 With the stock SCX24 transmission on those OGRC axles you should have enough gear reduction. Are you running the 20t pinion with the SMP? Have you setup your motor profile (kv, pole count) in the configuration tool? How heavy is your truck? Does it cog at low speed only, or anywhere in the throttle range?

    • @isaiah9313
      @isaiah9313 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@havikhobbies I'm running the pinion that was recommended on mofo for stock trans. I haven't configured anything yet. Seems to happen at low or high it'll bog down under any resistance. My truck weighs around 380g.

    • @havikhobbies
      @havikhobbies  ปีที่แล้ว

      I would definitely plug the ESC into a PC with the AM32 Programmer/Multi ESC config tool. Set your motor poles and KV to match the motor (14 pole 1700kv for SMP) Make sure the Stall Protection and Sinusoidal Startup boxes are checked. Set Timing advance to 15, Startup power to 100, Sine Startup range to 25 and Sine Mode Power to 6. That should get you to a good starting point, I hope that helps!
