That being said, don't be afraid to continue playing these champs if and when you climb the ranks as long as you're having fun
its just harder to continue climbing with them because they’re easy to play against
let me point out the obvious here, league and fun don't go together. Only if you are a new player and playing 5 stack with friends

26:49 Yi saw 1200hp, smited but within that second baron healed for 12hp, why? Sort of lifesteal baron have?
Baron "levels up" every minute. It just happened to be 26 minutes the exact same time he decided to smite. Ultimately, if there's no real threat of a steal, just smite a bit late to prevent weird steals like this.
But what am i as Mundo with 4 items supposed to do against the fed jinx almost full build with slowing bullets so i cant even get close to her supposed to do. And all turrets before inhibitor is destroyed and everytime i split pushed and all the team has to do is hold them back and not die they die and jinx + ziggs does what they do best demolish structures
Question... what champions should we look at to transition into higher level of gameplay after getting some of the basics down? Something along the lines of Gwen, riven, aatrox, wukong or something? And when should this transition begin? Should it even happen at all?

i agree with you alois on your first sett matchup. i dont like doing cheater recalls 75% of the time because usually the next wave doesnt crash into their turret too even if I stacked a massive wave. just puts me too far behind in XP if the enemy properly slowpushes and makes me lose the 3 melees so i almost never do cheater recalls. (ALSO STOP W'NG WITH NO GRIT ALOIS!!!!!!)
THe ONLY exception to a 3 wave crash is if you get a kill, thats it.

How does grasp work and how do you know when its ready to proc it
Grasp activates after 4 seconds of combat,regardless of minion or champion. When it is active, your next auto attack/on hit attack does more damage, heals for a but, and increases max HP.

Garen 100%, Mundo can only be played into comps without heavy max hp dmg and mordekaiser sett both have some horrific matchups

Quick correction there mr Alois Tryndamere can R when he is stunned even when he is suppressed tho i could be wrong about that one but i believe nothing can stop him from using his R if memory serves

True, red kayn destroys tanks. I played red kayn against chogath and he stood no chance
is this selection also meant to cover a wide variety of matchups in the top lane, so that you essentially never have to counterpick yourself by only playing these 4 champions ?
Sustain and scaling is good into bad matchups. If you can farm even or be slightly behind you’ll end up winning in the long run.

Sett's Q only grants movespeed towards enemy champions
I love sett, but I get very annoyed how easy it is for the enemy laner to just run away from you, you basically can't stick to them at all until you get stridebreaker and even then a little mobility and they are getting away, it's also very annoying into full ranged comps when you just get perma cc'd and kited. Once I get 1 kill the enemy laner just plays super safe and refuses to trade and waits for their jg to gank, even if i freeze, they either just stay back or run away as soon as i engage. I prefer pantheon for a super aggressive playstyle, since he can take ignite every game with his ult and gets a little bit of range and guaranteed stun gap closer, super easy to snowball.
well if youre freezing and theyre backing off thats amazing because now they lose so much cs, i think youre doing something wrong here
I guess it depends on playstyle because you can get super far ahead without kills and hard stomp your lane. You can use the fact they respect your early lvl stats to make them miss cs which will put you ahead in the power curve earlier
@@Ash-my4gf you have no idea how many times I've had a freeze pretty much all game and been up 50+ cs only to get team gapped. Freezing just puts your laner behind, but you aren't getting ahead, so if your team is losing every other laner is gonna be ahead in gold because all you were getting was the waves while they were getting kills, assists, plates, turrets and also the waves
I played Dr. Mundo for the past week and used the FOUNDTHEMENTOS to win my lanes.
And I gotta say WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT CHAMP ?!?! I guess it's normal to one shot their 10/0 adc when I am 1/0 Hearsteel Tank.

Mundo can't do anything early game, that's why nobody plays him in high unless its the GREATEST scenario to pick him. However i feel like emerald and below no one will really punish you that hard unless its counterpick

The only thing scarier than a fed mundo is if he's teamed up with a soraka. Pure nightmare fuel.

Alois, you said Trynd was stunned so he couldn't ult at 1:21:20 but I think Trynd can ult even while stunned... maybe even supressed I'm not sure. I think he just didn't press R.

@@Handsomekael I was mainly just responding to Alois saying that trynd couldn't ult if he's stunned. But, if trynd DID ult, he just e's towards his tower and escapes or at least forces annie flash.

pantheon is too hard for newer players to make work considering how if you make any mistakes early he is really weak, plus no sustain and beginners will probably struggle with how he’s much weaker post 6 against fighters
