I have the game on both PS5 pro and PC. It's important to mention the resolution is upscaled on the pro and it's also not max settings. Reflections are lower quality.
Yes! Deliberately omit the 4070 from the discussion because that's how the false equivalency started. Many PS5 Pro defenders don't understand, or don't want to understand, just how different the APU in the consoles is compared to a full size GPU.
They really don't understand how hardware works. I've just read people asking and hoping that Sony will allow them to download games to the portal so they can play them locally.
They are ignorant tech illiterate they are not compaing a mid end pc that got a 700 upgrade to a pro but compare it to a 700 newly bulilt pc that it still lose to
Some pertinent notes: As resolution scales higher, things get weird with performance metrics. CPU and GPU limitations would need to be taken into consideration and properly looked at.
Damn bro you want all the smoke Na but for real I think the PlayStation fan bois are just trolling either that or they went from a cheap 1080p monitor to some Westinghouse or OON 4k Walmart ass tv and are barely experiencing 4k
It's funny to see all this I feel like console gamers are finally getting caught up to how us PC gamers felt with the 20s series of cards Upscaling is awesome technology but it's definitely a clutch to have bad performance.
To be honest, I've tried playing in 8k on my TV and I personally could not tell the difference to 4k. The only difference I felt was the increased whirring sounds of my PC fans. 8k gaming capabilities may come in handy when it comes to VR gaming but for normal 2d gaming, I think 4k is the sweet spot.
The Calisto protical is running dynamic 6k with PSSR upscaling to "8k". On top of that there are games that run at native 6k on the Xbox Series X and PS5. Ori will of the wisp has a 6k mode on Series X. Running a game at 6k is basically a meaningless stat when it comes to portraying hardware capabilities.
Professional tested 4k and 8k most all people choose 4k cause no one could not tell a difference. No way ps5 can do 8k.just because u play on 8k tv doesn't mean it's playing 8k.😅
Without 8k monitor u upscaling 4k by ur settings is not making it 8k just putting more strain on the gpu doest man it's 8k 4k is it's max regardless of ur setting
pushing resolution but cant push frames. consoles are hopeless. atleast steam deck does do 60 in most games even though it screams at 25 watts. atleast it does consoles cant even do that even if they pull 0.8x extra power from wall.

As someone who switched from console to PC I can confirm that everything on PS5 and PS5 pro is lower quality 😂

Anyone saying otherwise prolly thinks a steam deck can do 4k ultra

COD and Fortnite at 8k 30fps would be a nightmare

This is how you can build a PC that is comparable to the PS5.
Comparable ❌
Better ⭕
Did you realise this whole thing is a scam doesn’t. The human eye doesn’t see in any form of K. That’s 4K8K 12 K doesn’t matter 😂
You’d need a huge tv (~85’) to notice any difference and even then it’s going to be minimal
