    Great stamps! And i loved your recent quote of ' i suffer from the tyranny of perfection' - i suffer, too...

      It's hard not to! Remembering that perfection is a cruel tyrant is the first step to freeing ourselves!

    Oh wow, I just discovered Sonya’s site today and ordered a pattern. And now, browsing TH-cam for fabric printing I run into Faith and Sonya.

    I would like to know about Sonya's website/classes, but I did not hear her last name. Can you tell me her full name, or where I might find her?

    I'd like to experiment with block printing onto mesh or tulle, do you think it could work?

    • @cbugstudio

      Ooh how interesting! I think the image would be more of a suggestion and most details would get lost, but it could create a lovely, ghostly effect. Let us know how it turns out!

      Using this question, I printed on tulle, laid over some semi-shiney fabric. Rotating tulle 180° offset the patterns. I made dress for 18 in doll that is beautiful. Next, thinking of trying 2 sets with different patterns or colors, then switching the tulle layers. Wonder how 2 layers of tulle would look after printing. This may take a while !

    Where do you get the rubber block and what do you use for cutting out the pattern?

    • @cbugstudio
      @cbugstudio  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Good question Pamela! You can find the rubber block at Jo-Ann under the name "Speedy Cut Rubber Block" and most fine-art stores should have them as well. Faith cut the cat block freehand and the dog block based on a photograph of Sonya's pup. Hope this helps!

      We used screen printing ink, but block printing ink would work as well. Thanks for your question!
