    Very nicely explained! I've been using Bosch dishwasher since almost 2 years now, without any hassle. Very convenient, especially if your job demands long hours. We keep adding utensils from breakfast to dinner after first rinsing them under tap water & put it on before going to bed. In the mornings it is nice to see no soiled utensils around & a dishwasher full of sparkling utensils! Btw you are not supposed to put sharp objects like knives & mixer jar. Of course wooden, alluminium, cheap plastic or so-called unbreakable melamine utensils cannot be added. I've been putting melamine cutlery from my dinner set everyday without any casualty. However, those that I bought from Big Bazaar, twisted & broke. Same with non-stick ware. Products from good companies like Nirlep have no issues, but locally made stuff is annihilated. As for space, one learns over time how to maximise it. I put larger vessels like steel kadhai, thalis, dinner plates, dal/rice/milk vessels in the lower tray. Tea mugs come under the spoons shelf, katoris alongside. One spoon shelf is enough, so the one that is behind is used for small bowls, katoris & dabbas. Smaller plates like the ones used for snacks, are put in the rack. Multiple Serving spoons come on both sides of the plates, as far behind as possible, with the broader part at the far end. They can overlap a little, no problem. A couple of extra plates can be put at right angles to the rack, over the handles of the serving spoons. Soup bowls are placed in the front left corner of the top shelf. Plastic (thick) containers are also placed here. A little overlapping is ok, still gets cleaned. Sometimes I put an inverted thali or 2 on top of the rice-dal vessels. We had a habit of rinsing utensils under tap water after use, even when we had a maid. This is the same. Also, we use a used toothbrush dipped in vim liquid to scrape muck from milk, dahi, dal utensils before putting in the dishwasher. We don't get hard water, so no salt required. A mix of vinegar & water solution kept in a small bowl in an empty dishwasher & run on quick wash, is said to take care of the smell & stains if any. I haven't tried this yet. Pre-rinsing helps. Once in a while when we run out of stock of dishwasher detergent (as during the lockdown), we use normal detergent like Ariel/Surf in lesser quantity & Vim liquid.

      Hi Preetha, thanks for the detailed info. I just bought a BPL Dishwasher. I have 2 questions for you:
      1. I am using IFB Salt. Is it really needed for me? I'm not sure how hard my water is? I reside in Bangalore and the water that comes out of my tap is borewell water.
      2. Can we really use normal detergents like Ariel/Vim? I'm a bit skeptical as it might harm the dishwasher.
      Thanks.

      Normal surf detergent or vim liquid can not be used as it leads to frothing. Please visit some more u tube videos and know how use of these detergents can be disastrous! I request please do not guide wrong.....

      @TheDynamicCast 4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @@debarokz it is not advisable to use regular detergents like vim or ariel, - it certainly, will spoil your dishwasher over the period of time as it creates a lot of forth. The dishwashers are not designed to handle such huge amount of forth. Regarding the salt, you must keep the salt compartment filled and let the dishwasher decide when to use it. Generally its a combination of salt, detergent and the rinse aid which helps in removing the dirt from the utensils and make it shine..

    Good information in many ways. Thank you. 3 questions: 1. How do you know that Bosch is the best brand? We are thinking of buying LG. 2. As mentioned in the above video some dishes had water. Is it not possible to get rid of them by operating at high temperature? 3. Are you sure if we use tablet, we don't need to add softner salt, even if tds of water is as high as 750 that we have in summer?

    • @InformationUnboxed
      @InformationUnboxed  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Its not like Bosch is the only best brand, when we purchased there were only few options for dishwashers in India.
      LG Truesteam is a good dishwasher model, we are going to put review soon.
      If water is very hard, its better to use tablet + salt for good results.

    Good review for BOSCH as well as LG High end premium Dish washer.
    1. In LG Premium model, you said that wash quality is better. Yes definitely, because you have shown dirty vessels before washing after washing. It has cleared dirt remarkablely.
    2. Regarding BOSCH, she has shown dirty utensils almost cleaned. So, is it necessary to clean manually before putting them in Bosch Dish washer?
    I appreciate you as all most all points are covered. What will be average monthly power (units) consumption if it is used twice in a day?
    please answer above quarries.

    • @InformationUnboxed
      @InformationUnboxed  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you Sudhakar!
      LG has an advantage with TrueSteam technology which really helps to clean utensils well.
      In both the cases no need to pre-rinse, only if something is burnt like tea stains or milk boiled utensils that needs a pre-scrub before putting inside dishwasher.
      It approximately uses 1 unit per cycle so expect around 200rs to 400rs monthly bill.

      We have faced such problem. I am sharing my experience. take 2/3 cup of vinegar and keep it on the upper rack and run a cycle which has high temperature and is long. In all probability, the marks will disappear. If you do not have vinegar, put 2 Table Spoon of citric Acid in detergent compartment and run a long cycle with high temperature. For old marks, before running a cycle, just spray vinegar on the white marks/streaks and rub with a soft cloth. After the cycle is over, the marks will disappear.

      Test water hardness. If the water is soft, you do not require additional salt or Rinse Aid. You can buy water hardness meter from Amazon for Rs. 200. Till 500 PPM, the dishwasher can handle it by medium salt setting. In fact Indian water is rarely soft. additional salt in the dishwasher's water softener and rinse aid in the respective compartment is always helpful.

      Hi Radhika,
      1. You cannot load any kind of traditional dishwasher soap, dishwasher detergents are different.
      2. In case of power cut, it will resume the session once power is back.
      3. Machine has a time delay function so you can start it at your convenient time.

    Hi, I see you put a wooden heat protection mat like a checkered design in the machine and a non stick pan too. Is it okay to do it?

      We put partial wooden items sometimes but technically it is not recommended. It might get damage. Non stick is also not recommended.

    thanks for your information , if we purchase through amazon , whether instalation is easy , we can do it ourself or it would be necessary to call Bosch dishwasher technician ?
    can we keep non stick utensils inside .

    • @InformationUnboxed

      You can do installation if you have all the connections ready, otherwise Bosch will provide free installation and demo.
      Non-stick if you know the brand then check for dishwasher safe mark. Usually it doesn't go inside.

Is it true? V can lift the upper rack of ifb in case needed. This facility is not available in Bosch. Bosch white colour model and ifb vx silver colour model are almost space price 34k and change.when I tried to slowly hit the outer part of Bosch with hand, it was like a iron sheet making some sound. When I did the same with IFB, it was very compact as if it is strong. Please explain which to choose.
