You guys🥰! I don't even miss Nandji I (like I thought I would). Nandji II is just a dream, its everything I imagine about living on a sailboat. Thank you or sharing your lives. My favorite feature? Tallulas Room 🦄
I have a classmate who just purchased a Tayana 47, designed by Robert Perry located in Shilshole Bay, Seattle.. She was located in the Red Sea, apparently was hit by drone fire and nearly sank. He has shipped her to the States for refit, due to arrive in New York Harbor sometime in May 2024. She was a total loss so the price was right. Beautiful boat, 38,000 displacement, a real offshore sailor he plans on circumnavigating the globe. Thanks for the tour, you have a one in a million as a Home.
When you get round to the hard top remember rain water capture. It will save power on rainy days if you need water. Leave space under the solar so it can be cleaned. Great boat.
Air con you ARE worthy ! I remember watching you drifting for days with issues with " old smokey" and then the JOY of getting FANG installed. Your new home is absolutely beautiful and functional.
I've had track decks for 49 years now. I have found that taking a hood size metal file, bending the spike tip over 90 degrees, maybe 3/8s in . Makes a great tool to remove the old black calk. Just a tip that has worked well for me
If I ever bought a boat, I would shop for Tayana, Pacific Seacraft, and Colvic boats. I want to be more comfortble at anchor than in a marina. Safe travels. ❤
Yes such a happy child. (at least from what we see) lol Being raised away from the global brain poisoning, and seemingly never being subjected to/taught hate, and being accepting of everyone she meets from multiple cultures. What a glorious way to grow up!.
Super good tour and a snapshot of work to be done. What a beautiful yacht! Best home/world cruiser ever! Love watching Tallula "help"! She's growing fast and in all the right ways! Great parents!
Keep the microwave in case you run out of gas and you're too overwhelmed to cook on the barbeque or its raining. In 1 minute you can boil water for instant noodles, no effort. It's just such a great backup if you're sick or pressed for time.
What a beautiful boat. There will always be little things to fix. just like a house, or RV. You fix the big stuff. and go down the list. Y'all have done a lot already. BUT that was to be expected due to it sitting for so long out in the weather. When ya get the outside sanded and varnished and the mast taken care of the boat will be so Gorgeous out side then you can care for the little things like faucets etc. Yes I bet it would be great to have some helpers be fore you set sail across the Indian Ocean. OH that freezer is amazing. You need to keep some room so when you catch a big fish You'll have a place to put it. I'm with you Propane all the way for cooking. OH Yes get rid of the microwave Thank you for sharing a update of Nandji 2. That tub is just the right size for Tallulah.
I think you got that backwards, it's great to have the auto pilot as a backup to the hydrovane, when you have both, hydrovane is always the primary, they don't use any power and they keep the boat sailing to the wind. Auto pilot is good when sailing around islands and staying in marked channels, hydrovane is better when at sea.
Yosh. Many stock wiring harnesses use plain copper wire... and where they shrink wrap the connections are usually prone to moisture build up. My advice is to have a good look behind the big 12 pin plug, i bet you will find something. (Yanmar might have more or less pins on the main harness)
Hi to you all, you mentioned arriving in Richards Bay. There are game reserves about 1 to 1.5 hrs up the coast from here. Please watch the trucks which deliver coal to the coal terminal. They are really hectic on the roads. Please don't flaunt your jewelry or money as there are bad elements around. Please be vigilant at all times wherever you go. Have a great weekend. Kind regards.
You all are fantastic, keep it up, and glad you chose healthy options, being off shore it is not worth gambling on your health! So much positive, Love it!
Thanks for the latest tour of Nandji 2! She is a beautiful vessel! I fell in love with the Hallberg Rassy 46 years ago as a crew member, and yours is similar, but I actually like the interior layout of the Tayana better, especially the aft cabin. I love that you have AC from the sun!! Keep up the good work y'all!
What an amazing boat and you've done a substantial amount of game changing work to it. Beautiful and solid. I thought I had a huge battery bank at 1300 . 2000 would be overkill for me, although I'll soon have 1600 which is huge for me.
So much more space for you to fill. Really looking forward to seeing you go Ocean crossing, Pleased you’ve upgraded to Nandji 2 before going out exploring our wonderful planet. Definitely the right decision. Bonita after following you both for so many years you now look so much happier in your own body. All the very best wishes to you from us both in England. We are in the Sunny English Riviera if you venture this far North.
Hello Legends!!!! This boat was a gem of a find from day 1 and now to see how much you have fixed her up it sure is a special cruising treat and perfect for a sailing family. A great video tour and as always, Thanks for sharing. Yew!
Comprehensive tour! Good on ya! My fav boat is the Hunter Passage. Same kind of layout. I’d like to have a copy of your boat tho also. 42’ vs 47’ between the two. Thanks for the show me!
I've sailed a couple of Tayanas - a 37 and a 42 and they were nothing like yours! Both were canoe stern for one thing and full keel. Other than the feel of the interior, if never have guessed Nanji was a Tayana. But I can see why you bought her, she's perfect for your family. The absolute ideal upgrade. May you enjoy many miles of smooth sailing, and topped up batteries!
Fantastic! You answered every one of my questions shortly after I thought of them. 1500 watts of solar is life-changing. 12v A/C is nice, but you'll still be making value decisions as you consider power consumption on your journeys. Good luck with the outfitting for blue water!
Beautiful yacht, very thoughtfully designed. Thanks for the tour and detail on planned upgrades. You guys deserve her and I look forward the big upcoming adventure. Stay safe and wishing you all the best.
Wow, I must say that boat is absolutely perfect. I would love to have that boat. It seems like the space is wide. Open. Nice and tall for me and you have all the abilities
Great tour. You can use small empty polystyrene boxes, like the ones that hold 6 stubbies, to fill space in the freezer. I have a walking freezer in my business and use empty broccoli boxes to fill space. Microwave is good to protect electronic hand held devices in thunderstorms. Portable nduction wok cooker. Safe, efficient, fast. You won't regret the purchase. Cheers Peter
Such a sweet little comfy home on the sea!❤ You've really made her into a beautiful lovely *home* ; *Your* home! And so glad to hear you speak of crew, as I really hope you're taking on 1 or 2 mates for the long leg of the Indian Ocean passage. Yes?
Nice to see Starlink works so well, checked it out a few months ago and nothing like a user recommendation from such nice people. Lovely boat stem to stern
Excellent tour. We have been watching and really waiting for this tour. We have a 49’ Pearson (SV Solution) and are getting ready to haul out and want to add the solid hand rails and dinghy davits. Could you please send or show a little more info on them.
I am happy to see you in more of a sailing boat and less of a brick. Perry designs are still very conservative as thats the market he was catering for mostly. Just for interests sake hve alook at designers such as Joe Adams, Graham Radford, Carl Scumacher, Steve Dashew etc. much lighter boats with longer waterlines and more moderate beam look at an Adams 54 (17m), or an Oyster Lightwave 48. You can pick up a Lightwave 48 for a similar price to your boat. They are capable of 200 mile days in reasonable conditions and the low weight, low drag and small rig mean low loads on everything including the steering, autopilot & crew. Long light boats make for easier passagemaking & easier cruising. Faster means more weather windows: those 1000 mile hops now only take 5 days instead of 8. I have a Sundeer 60. Its a smaller boat than yours. I did Hobart to Fiji last year - 2550 miles in 12 ¾ days with me and two beginners aboard.
GREAT TOUR!! You have earned your right to have space and some luxury, You chose wisely!
7 years with a salt water shower ... you deserve all this luxury ❤ beautiful boat X
You guys🥰!
I don't even miss Nandji I (like I thought I would). Nandji II is just a dream, its everything I imagine about living on a sailboat. Thank you or sharing your lives.

Air con you ARE worthy ! I remember watching you drifting for days with issues with " old smokey" and then the JOY of getting FANG installed. Your new home is absolutely beautiful and functional.
Take my advice Yosh - a vacuum cleaner is not a good idea for an anniversary gift. You’ve done an amazing job turning Nandji II into a beautiful home.
I've had track decks for 49 years now. I have found that taking a hood size metal file, bending the spike tip over 90 degrees, maybe 3/8s in . Makes a great tool to remove the old black calk.

Thanks for the tip 👌
Boy, you've got this knocked. Congratulations, and thanks for the tour!
If I ever bought a boat, I would shop for Tayana, Pacific Seacraft, and Colvic boats. I want to be more comfortble at anchor than in a marina. Safe travels. ❤

Glad to see you got what you deserve. Beautiful yacht.
When 'Lula is big enough, she is going to love sitting in that Mermaid chair. I love watching her grow! Safe travels ❤❤
Yes such a happy child. (at least from what we see) lol Being raised away from the global brain poisoning, and seemingly never being subjected to/taught hate, and being accepting of everyone she meets from multiple cultures. What a glorious way to grow up!.
Did Yosh learn a new word for this one. Encapsulated 😂
You got Nanji 2 looking great.
It's such a sick boat

Super good tour and a snapshot of work to be done. What a beautiful yacht! Best home/world cruiser ever! Love watching Tallula "help"! She's growing fast and in all the right ways! Great parents!
Fix the cockpit remote windlass switch. It may save your boat someday
That No on the Loo fan was awesome 😂😂😂
😂😂
Thanks for the in-depth tour guys, loved it! She is a beautiful yet robust boat, perfect for your family while traveling the world!
She's a real beauty.
It really is beautifully setup - great choice of platform, and great work guys.
Keep the microwave in case you run out of gas and you're too overwhelmed to cook on the barbeque or its raining. In 1 minute you can boil water for instant noodles, no effort. It's just such a great backup if you're sick or pressed for time.
Good to see you guys again. Stay healthy and God bless!
The Tayana sounds like a good change for the family. If two people worked hard and deserved a new boat, it’s you two - +1.
Thanks 🥰
Beautiful boat mate.
Thanks for the tour ❤
Love you guys. 327 screws/nails 😄
You both must have to sit on your hands to stop yourself clapping!!! What a beautiful home. So happy for you all. ❤️

Great to have the hydrovane as a backup auto pilot, you should also consider a third backup auto pilot.
We have! It’s called Tallula 😂
I think you got that backwards, it's great to have the auto pilot as a backup to the hydrovane, when you have both, hydrovane is always the primary, they don't use any power and they keep the boat sailing to the wind.

The boat is beautiful. I know you have some things to do yet, but when they are done you will have a wonderful seaworthy boat.
Hi to you all, you mentioned arriving in Richards Bay. There are game reserves about 1 to 1.5 hrs up the coast from here. Please watch the trucks which deliver coal to the coal terminal. Lucky we don’t have jewelry or money 👌

Joshie the fan in the head is not for when you are on the head but after....... it needs to blow air out of the hatch🤣
Yes!! There’s my reason 😂
You guys have the best boat! We love it. Future videos need more Tallulah (sp)! She adds an introspective view that is unmatched!

You guys deserve the upgrades. Looking forward to the shipyard episodes.
Cheers
Awesome boat. You should think about installing softstart for the water maker motor. May be able to run without a generator then.
Great idea 💡
Very nice
Thank you for the fun tour! Your home Nanji 2 is just beautiful! Bonita your hair is so pretty❤
Safe journey
Excellent tour. We have been watching and really waiting for this tour. We have a 49’ Pearson (SV Solution) and are getting ready to haul out and want to add the solid hand rails and dinghy davits. Could you please send or show a little more info on them.
