The SRT-101 had 3 variants, only the first two have the mirror lock up lever. The outer part of the speed knob is black on the earliest variants, these do have the mirror lock up. The second variant is what you have there with the silver knob and the mirror lock up. The third variant has a silver knob, but does NOT have the mirror lock up. These variants probably explain the screw spacing issue. If the mirror lock up is important to you, make sure you can see it in the listing's pictures.
I noticed the same when comparing my SRT-101 to my SRT-MC-II (if you've heard of this model before) which indeed has a hot shoe. On the back the MC-II has a DIN/ASA scale however it's printed inside the memo holder. I believe the uneven screw distance on the back (to the left and right of the viewfinder) refer to models made in 1968 onwards from what I've read.
I own the 100x, no film reminder back, no mirror lock up, no self timer, no dual cds meter, no aperture info in the viewfinder, no depth of field button... But guess what: it has the hotshoe 😅
To be fair, for when this camera was released (1966) it seems that it was actually really well specified. As well as the features mentioned in the video, it has a viewfinder shutter speed display and, the big one, open aperture metering! Not many cameras had that extensive a feature set.

I honestly think it’s a great camera with a ton of features I was just shocked with myself not noticing the lack of hot shoe beforehand 😂
