I bought the vise grip version of this. It is absolutely without a shadow of a doubt my favourite tool. The time saving factor is like night and day. A joy to use!

I didn't buy this tool , a friend gave it me for my birthday and I never used it for over a year, until I got this job making up some electronic units which required some serious wire stripping ,nearly 1,000 pieces of wire had to be bared off ,its only then you realise how useful it really is !

Glad to hear you're busy Micheal. That wire striper looks the business. When I was serving my time we got one in our tool box but is was a cheapo and wasn't much good, long since in the bin! Thanks for the video.

a friend gave me this for my birthday and I never thought I would use it until a job came along involving stripping hundreds of wires at a time and now I cant do without it .

I've just got one (Toolstation) and can't believe I've managed without it for the the last 35 years ! Are these new to the market (I've seen similar, but they usually don't work very well) and how long do they last ?

@@mfd70 I dont know , a friend gave me these for my birthday over a year ago and I never really used them until recently when I landed this electronic assembly job and now I cant do without them, I have to strip so many wires in one go it would take forever just using a pair of side cutters .

@@michaeldranfield7140 yes i remember replacing the line output transformer just two multipin plugs and resetting the voltage and replacing the focus bleader chain resistors worked great for a few years back in the day for a tv i found on the tip, amazing the flat screens you see up there now probably with simple fault.
