great review! What a great band it was! I was luckily to meet all band members during my Slade fan 'career' which still last to this very day! Keep on Rocking!

Hay man! thanks for watching and for the positivity! and oh wow! really!? thats brilliant! what were they like in person? I imagine they were quite chilled out generally from what i've seen in interviews :) and good to hear it man! gotta keep the rock alive! a summer without Slade is barely worth having! :)

Cracking piece of music history, even if its in the film genre. Gritty film for sure.

    Great review ....
I’m a massive Slade Fan and watched it on release in 1975 ....
It’s a great film and soundtrack as the reviewer states ..
If you have never watched it please do .
Slade don’t get the credit they deserve
    Thankyou

Hi there, and thanks for dropping by and tuning in! That SO lucky you got to see this movie on the big screen at the time! it must have been a fantastic atmosphere to be in! unfortunately I never got the chance to see Slade live (and now probably I never will) but I can only begin to imagine how excellent they must have been as performers!
A terrifically underrated band as you say, they tend to get noted for their christmas hit and maybe one or two other tracks. but theres TONS of stuff that gets overlooked which I thinks a real shame! they're definitely a top band in my book!
And thanks again for watching! :)

Great video. I had no idea about this movie, wasn't such a fan of Slade that I would have known of it. I love oddball artist films like this (I blame Kiss Meets the Phantom which I love) and they usually aren't very good but glad this sound like a fun one. I'll put it on my list to remind myself to watch it someday.

Thanks man :) yeh this is a bit of a weird one, it's by no means a goofy movie like Phantom or Head. It's much grittier and darker...I mean we're not talking "Trainspotters" gritty...but it's not really a laugh a minute film. Its fantastically well shot though :) definitely worth checking out at some point I'd say :)
