There's a video on TH-cam of a person having they're turbo H2 dyno'd. They said in the video they had to stop the dyno. Because the bike was going so fast the carbon wheel were peeling apart
Me personaly Love the look of the original h2r wheels so i would keep them
I would think safety first in regards to carbon wheels, most bikes that come with them are 50 pounds lighter than the H2r, that's an extra 50 pounds when you hit a pot hole or rough road surface at 100 plus mph.
Then again there are some Hayabusa's running them that street race so its a hard choice.

Why would carbon wheels not work when they put them in drag bikes with over 400hp and trapping almost 200 in a 1/4 mile
They dont have crazy potholes that can crack them at the drag, imagine doin these speeds then goin over one
