You should be able to but with the experience I have now, i dont believe glue will hold alone. If hiding the hardware is what you're looking to do, maybe try black hardware and glue
It would be better to use Saphir which doesn't scratch when cleaning. That is a polycarbonate sheet. Plexiglass (which is a brand of acrylic) would break immediately. I recommend to use some EPDM or neoprene between the metal and the window so you don't get cracks over time. When spray painting, do two thin layers, or even 3, to get it light-tight
i put a plexiglass window in my ap it fell out a little it sounds like someone is pulling on it but its just the wind i also live very close to a hooded area im sitting here with a baseball bat as i type this should i fix it properly now or later idk what to do i cant get any good sleep and im scared sh*t less

There are lots of things that made me go "what?!'" in this video but lets discuss the rattle can for just a second....do you hear that thing that makes the can "rattle"? That is called a paint stirrer. It, you know, stirs that paint. So if all the paint has settled to the bottom of the can, how is the stirrer supposed to stir the paint, which is thick and under pressure so it doesn't want to move, if its at the top of the bloody can? A few hard twist motions of the wrist with the stirrer at the bottom of the can will get the paint moving then shake as normal to thoroughly mix.
its not for being aero dynmaitc its for the rear mount radiator and heat being able to escape, and your also wrong about the weight my dude very bit helps when your drifting

The drag caused by the holes will be horrendous and it looks like you have no idea about aero! :-) Also, the weight saving will be minimal.
