This may not be a long storytime kind of video but I have a video idea that you could use: things you learnt once you moved out that you wish you'd learnt earlier. Could be handling expenses, cooking, anything. Basically how you've rediscovered yourself and the world around you after becoming this independent.
What you said is absolutely correct, why all the pressure of finances on men. But then nobody really puts the pressure on men to be the sole breadearners. It's usually men who stop their wives from working. It's families who don't let their daughters study or develop their talents. And above all just having a job doesn't really ensures that the woman is empowered. I have personally seen working women with abusive husbands who control their finances. I have seen women on good posts who had to go through arranged marriage with dowry, working women who are forced to have babies, even if they aren't ready.
Just a video request. Can you do a talk video with Akhil about career. I think he’ll have lots of good suggestions to give to someone starting a business or getting into corporate world.
