SCRATCH BUILT LOG HANDLER

I thought that if I loaded logs from an American Flyer #751 log loader onto a flatcar, it would make sense to deliver them to a different location. I purchased a used part from a Lionel #164 log loader, fashioned a base for it and added an office built from a kit made by Greenleaf Village Wooden Buildings.
A small DC gear motor is housed in the office and turns the chain drive.

That's a pretty neat use of parts! The American Flyer log loader is one of my favorite accessories.
