I bought a Record LP77 from a bicycle shop in Timperley in the late 80s....couldn't try it unlike at the old MAGshop, so I was very annoyed when the complicated grip hurt my delicate paw...traded it for used Record Champion...good vid and nice to be mugged down memory lane🔫👍
I really like this series ,every episode just evokes memories of My youth and simpler times . Thanks PT. Catch You next time , Shoot Straight Stay Safe & Stay Well.
MY DEAR FRIEND. IT IS NICE TO GREET YOU, I CONGRATULATE YOU FOR HAVING SOME EXEMPLARY AIR GUNS AND ALSO, THAT YOU ARE A GOOD SHOT, YOU MAKE GOOD SHOTS WITH ALL, FROM THE OLDEST TO THE MOST MODERN OF AIR GUNS. ERNESTO COS LONDAIZ. BEST REGARDS
Good video. I have the Gamo Falcon (made in my country), its very simmilar to Gamo Center. Today no one mades a such powerful and accurate air pistol, maybe the Blow h-01.
@@dkjngl1 Used to live on farm next to dump. Shot so many rats and mice, the coyotes were very fat. Kept mom busy with rabbit stews. Also shat some bigger rodents like gophers and occasional groundhog.
Brilliant video. Great to have a part three. I own four of the models covered here so it's particularly interesting to hear your comments. The Walther is next on my list, but they're getting hard to find.
The LP77 is a better pistol, more power, better grips (if they fit you) and better quality…but I have a nostalgic connection to the LP2 as it was my first air pistol as a kid and they are surprisingly accurate. Although I had 2 LP2’s and one was less accurate, I’ve no idea why. Needless to say I kept the more accurate one. Just get both! Cheers
Mine is most accurate with Bisley Practice but yours might be different. I’d try Bisley Practice, Air Arms Diabolo field and JSB express at 10yds and see which is most accurate.
Superb video. I glance my eyes on a cheap EMGE mod LP 3 in .22. Have you tried it? Do you think it is worth collecting ? Besides i don t find any infos in trigger pull, powerplant etc...
Понравился "Эм-Ге", мне кажется он очень сбалансированный и должен хорошо лежать в руке, у длинностволов, да ещё и выдвинутых вперёд, ствол норовит клюнуть вниз. Даже удивился промаху в первый раз.
Hi, yes, I know....I don't have one as I always thought of them as a bit of a hand cannon but I've recently heard they are quite good to shoot so I'll get one some day. Do you have one, if so what's it like to shoot? Cheers
Thank you for such a great three part series on airpistol history.
Glad you enjoyed it, there’s a part 4 too 😊 thanks
@@dkjngl1 I will look out for Part 4 of your excellent videos.
@@dkjngl1 Can you give me a link to it, ie Part 4 ? Many thanks in advance. Best wishes.

The Champion is a much more interesting pistol, and quite rare too. I’ll feature one in part 5. Thanks mate 👍

I had a Webley Hurricane and a Powerline 717 as a youth. Looong time ago. ;)
Great vid! love your collection there! I happen to love some of the older air guns from back in the day, and this vid was quite refreshing to watch!

Looking foreward to it. Thanks for your reply.
Great video. Greetings from Colombia and enjoy your air guns.
Cheers from London 😊
Thanks for another interesting video.
Really liked my fwb65 from ARH. Sold it to buy scoped fwb rifle.
I have a 1967 catalogue from Air Rifle headquarters. There are great write up on all the old match rifles. Great stuff

Part fours not far behind. You’re right I’ve not seen many LP2/3 for sale in U.K. I got mine from Germany
Como gosto destas coisas é uma belíssima coleção todas são lindas.
Great series, thanks very much. When will part four be coming out?
We filmed 3 & 4 together so just need to do the voiceover for 4. Should be in the next few months. Got a few other vids to publish first. Thanks mate

What is the best pellet for the hurricane?

Hi, I don’t have a Emge lp3 but they are well made by a good company so are probably good pistols. Depends on the condition though. Cheers

Lots of airgun makers too here in the Philippines during the 1970s. But because Marcos declared martial law, airguns were hard to come by...
Would be interesting to see a video of all the truly rubbish airguns & pistols over time 😂
Some poor sod would have to own them 😊
G10 repeater think it was meant to look like an 1911. You can add that one to the terrible list
