    OMG this is what i needed, i just spent an hour looking on the internet for a good font management software's, and all the top 10/20 font management systems all were too full of unnecessary (at least for me) stuff, and full of their own downloadable fonts etc. all i wanted is exactly this, to delete fonts, to install fonts, and to organize them all in different sub folders and favorites. Thank you!

    Definitely useful to tag or group the fonts for which you have commercial licenses! I'm also grouping typefaces that have alternate character sets (e.g., my Hebrew fonts).

    Is there a way to back up fonts, so I can easily load them if my computer crashes or a I get a new / additional computer?

    • @DesignBundles
      @DesignBundles  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Great question, Erin! And yes! First, any font you purchase from FontBundles.net will stay on your account to redownload. But an even easier way is to download all your fonts into one folder (for example, your Documents) and name it "Fonts". You can back that folder up to a cloud service (mine backs up automatically each night) or back it up to an external hard drive. Then those fonts will be there for you in the event of needing a new computer or just losing the data on your current one. Hope this helps! -Becky

    How do you know if a font is script, serif, etc.?

    • @PhotohackLovers
      @PhotohackLovers 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      well most graphic designers took a class and were trained to tell the difference, so we know by looking, but if you right click on the font it should say what type of family its in, however using a font manager will give you way more info on a font.

    What’s a dingbat?

    • @DesignBundles
      @DesignBundles  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Good question Cassandra! A dingbat font is a font that consists of special characters, often doodles and such. Here's a great (free for plus members) example from FontBundles.net, it's a font duo that has a regular font and a dingbat font. I just downloaded it myself a few days ago. fontbundles.net/plusstore/153415-doppelganger-and-dingbat-a-font-duo#gtmList=5>mPos=2
