I think China should also be respectful towards negotiation treaty. What I have known about the issue is that after high level talks both armies needed to withdraw troops 2.5 km back. But when Indian soldiers knew that the Chinese haven't vacated the places that they needed they went to the Chinese army camp where the Chinese army prepared with rods and sticks and the clashes happened. China needs to respect high level talks , negotiations and treaty. China can't behave like what it did with Philippines after negotiations that it would withdraw it's troops which didn't in the SC Sea.
