Good video. I have hohner 270 heaving square holes and insignia round holes with round face. While travelling I carry insignia. For me the tonal quality is full . I like the insignia
I bought Insignia.. within a week there is no sound coming from hole no. 1 blow. I tried warming several times but no gain. And I am a beginner and was recommended to buy insignia by the dealer.
Now looking for 2nd one. But I am avoiding insignia.

DD sir, great video as always. Forerunner definitely seems a bit sharp, Insignia is mellow.
Insignia has a fuller & deeper tone... May be because of the windsavers.. Good video sir 🙏
Maybe it’s the mic or maybe it’s my ear (more likely!) but I couldn’t hear much of a difference, especially the lower octave. On the middle the Insignia sounded more mellow / soft / soothing. East top slightly sharper. But what I want to know is, can you actually feel any difference in effort / breath between the two, given that one is valved?
I found it almost same.
@@doordarshisingh Thank you for the feedback. If that’s the case then the added complexity of having valves feels kind of pointless ... basically it just boils down to tonal quality then, which is a subjective point.
Sirji , great review. Difference between two Harmonica can be feel easily, Easttop is bit on vibrant tone whereas Insignia is more on Melodious side as it's having valve reeds. Great going @DD sirji
Sir, very good video. Sir, which kind of hole is better? Square or round one? Front runner is little bit sharper than Insignia I feel on middle octave. Insignia we get wavy sound which is good one to listen . May be because of the thickness of the reeds. Your comments sir.
Every individual have different choice and taste.

Yes indian Insignia harmonica found better in tonal quality
I choose Insignia. Deeper tone and made in India.

Sir I have bought the Forerunner Mouth organ...a have faced two issues with it...one is that one note makes late sound when I draw or blow in that hole...and the last note on the higher octave takes more effort to make sound...is that normal? Hole number 3 makes the late sound slightly and the 12th number hole takes more effort
Problem of 12 hole might be common but 3rd hole problem shouldnt be there.
@@doordarshisingh yes sir...the 3rd hole responses a bit late...not much..but I can feel it...I can almost hear the air going in and coming out of it before the sound gets created...but if I put a bit more force then the latency reduces...how can I fix this sir..it will be really helpful if you can help

Forerunner must be around 3k and insignia around 4k. There's new model Forerunner 2 which is around 4.5k.

I have been playing Eastop forerunner for two months now. I am happy with the harmonica, but I have an issue nonetheless. I don't know if it is a general problem. It is winter time now. So when I am playing some particular notes repeatedly, they collect moisture which is visible from the holes. These notes are then difficult to play. Does it happen because it doesn't have valves, or is it my breathing? Please help and advice. Much thanks.
It is only due to excessive sliva. U need to clean regularly

Pl suggest v clear about comparative airtightnes/eassy blow or play. although insignia is valved but we know other reed etc their thickness n so many other internal const details fix the softness of some instru.so pl suggest which one out of both is soft or effortless
