Congratulations! That is so AWESOME!!! THANK YOU for using my videos to help you study. I wish you the absolute best in your new career as an RN :) Your comment made my day!!!
This has helped me so much. It is so overwhelming trying to remember each of the electrolyte imbalances, their s/s, causes, nursing interventions, and treatments in a memorable way that will not only get me through my next test, but will get me through NCLEX. I love that you offer mnemonics to help me with this. Thank you !!!
I wish you were my instructor. I'm almost halfway through my RN program and I feel like I haven't learned much at all. Your video was perfect and so easy to understand. Thank you so much for taking the time to do these videos.

I love your videos... I have a test in a week about electrolyte balance and I have found your videos to be very helpful in breaking each down without being overwhelming. I love that you did a video for each "hypo-" and "hyper-" so that it's not too much at once.
Thanks for everything Nurse Sarah, now Im proud to be a registered nurse and I can say that you are part of my success since nursing school.Continue the great job and God Bless you and your family.

+Lauren Spence Very awesome to have a student from the UK :) Thank you for watching the videos! I'm so happy they are helping you. I hope you ace your upcoming exam! Happy New Year!
I watched so many of these over and over again before my pn boards last Thursday, along with reading the Saunders review book, but these videos helped so much. Passed the first time, Thankyou for taking the time to make these.
Congrats, Philip! That is so awesome, and I wish you the best in your new career as a nurse. I'm glad the videos helped you prep for your NCLEX-PN exam. THANK YOU for coming back to let me know...I appreciate it!
i love watching all your videos coz it contains alot of good informations which is very effective learning tools in refreshing my knowledge and skills as a registered nurse,.i find it very interesting and more easy and fast to understand rather than reading the entire textbook. i just want you to know that few hours ago, i have watched your video about ABG interpretation and "WOW" twas so cool, finally i already understand it. i must admit that before watching your video i really have a hard time and confusion understanding about abg.... thank you so much for sharing your knowledge thru this site. you are very helpful to everyone.....GOD BLESS!
THANK YOU so much for the amazing comment! I really appreciate you taking the time to leave it. I'm so happy the videos are helping you and that the ABG video helped you understand acid-base imbalances. I love the tic tac toe method....it makes answering questions on an exam a breeze. Thank you for taking the time to watch my videos. I wish you the best in your studies!
Your videos are awesome. They are getting me and my peers through nursing school. They’re especially helpful because I get a little distracted from time to time and unlike lecture I can just rewind. Thank you for all your help.
I just took my first medsurg exam today and i was super nervous about it because im taking an online accelerated program and i felt like the lectures my professors posted had soo much information and there were sooo many slides, it was overwhelming to teach myself. So i watched your HF, DKA, HHNS, hyper and hypoglycemia and all your electrolyte videos instead and i felt so prepared!. I double checked my review and everything on my review you covered in your lecture videos. I made an A on my first exam! i wrote down ALL the memory hooks right when i walked in and was able to recall all of it. I got every question about the peak and duration of the insulins right, and all of the HF and electrolye imbalance symptom questions right. You do such a great job explaining exactly what you need to know and in a way that is easy to remember without rambling. I feel like I REALLY learned the material. I have subscribed and will definitely be referencing your channel for each new topic I have to learn. Thanks for making such helpful videos! -Tamra
Hello Tamra :) THANK YOU so much for this amazing comment and for taking the time to leave it. First of all, congrats on getting an A on your first exam...that is an awesome way to start out the semester...going into it strong. I'm so very honored my videos helped you prep for the exam and you liked all my memory aids. Those insulin peaks and durations gave me such a time in nursing school...so I definitely wanted to create something that was easy to remember but nursing related. Also, THANK YOU for subscribing. Every week I upload new videos with review quizzes, and I'm always creating new series. Right now, I'm covering GI and then renal. I hope to make it to peds pretty soon too. Thank you again for the comment, and I wish you the best in your studies!
super helpful! i have an exam tomorrow in pharmacology and needless to say It feels like my brain is going overload w all this information so this definitely helped! THANK YOU so much!
Thank you so much for this! I'm a first year nursing student and we being tested on this this upcoming week. Wish I would have discovered your videos sooner!
Kalemia's do the same as the prefix except for Heart Rate and Urine Output.. I got that from a review course and it seemed to really help me to remember S/S. :)
Great videos, great mnemonics, great presentations! You should consider opening a donations page. Would love to support your page! This is a priceless resource to us student nurses!
Aww, thank you so much again, Lynne :) I remember a while back when you were watching the acid-base imbalance videos. I hope all is well this semester!
Thank you, Nurse Sarah! Nursing students talk a lot about you and how great you are but I didn't believe it until I saw your videos. You truly are extremely helpful! Love from Aurora, CO!
Just discovered your channel! I am currently an RT student but I new to the healthcare field. Your videos are very helpful and so informative. Thank you!
I'm so happy you found me ! Thank you so much for the kind comment, Marissa! I'm so happy you like my videos....thanks for watching them! I'm honored I could help!
I had low potassium when I was pregnant with my son. It is no fun at all. It was around 2.0 but after the IV and those pills I got up to 4.0...it took weeks though. So whenever potassium is brought up in class, I'm usually pretty familiar with it. lol. Great video. I notice potassium is brought up often throughout nursing school.
+Melody Taylor Oh wow! I bet your were miserable and worried all at the same time when you potassium was low. Yes, potassium is a favorite topic in nursing school and when you are a nurse. Patients are always having low potassium levels in the hospital and it seems like you are always having to replace it. Thank you for leaving a comment :)
Omg I love you! Not only did you describe sS and manifestations but you explained why and that helped me remember the big picture and see why we see and do what we see or do
First off just want to say I love your videos. I find them very helpful and I'm using all the electrolyte videos to help me for an upcoming test. I've sent the link to your channel to all my nursing school peers and they love you as well. Thank you again!
Hello Jesse :) THANK YOU so much for sharing my channel with your nursing school peers, and I'm glad they like the videos as well. My channel was created for you all...to make studying a little bit easier..if that is possible haha. Again, thank you for this awesome comment, and I wish you the best in nursing school!
thank you thank you soooooo much for making it easier for me to understand this!!!! just in time...will have my nclex in a few weeks and I was getting confused with potassium
I just want to say THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!!!. I have found your websites so helpful and rewarding. Your tips are AWESOME!!!!! I am very visual learner and I find myself retaining everything that you teach us. I look forward to seeing more helpful videos in my senior year of my nursing career. :)
You're very welcome, Ylonka! I appreciate you taking the time to leave this kind comment and letting me know the video helped you. I'm a visual learner, as well, so I can definitely relate you with. I wish you the best in your senior year (I know you have to be so ready to graduate soon). Thanks for using my channel to help you prep.
I'm loving all your videos I'm watching. They are so helpful and informative and easy to learn, thank you! Love your mnemonics! With your potassium rich foods mnemonic I like to think of the letter 'I' as "In the sea - fish", and the "U" as "Under the ground - mushrooms/carrots" I know mushrooms aren't literally under the ground but it helps me! :)
+Janine Howe Thank you so much for watching them :) Yes!! I love that about the "I" and "U"....very clever. I hope others read your comment and take note of it because it is a great way to remember it. Again, I appreciate your feedback and comment very much :)
+Diana Rnyc You're very welcome! Thanks for leaving a comment, Diana. Glad I could help you understand hypokalemia. I understand things better too in layman's terms :)
So grateful for all your hard work a dedication you put into making these videos. You are helping me so much in all my classes!! God bless you, you not only save patients but also nursing students !!!
+Kayla V Oh thank you so much, Kayla! I'm so happy I can help other nursing students out there. I remember how it was being one. Thanks for your awesome comment...very encouraging to me :)
+RegisteredNurseRN Aww, your very welcome! You did a great job with these videos and they are free! Someone should be paying you for these! I am half way through my first semester and I tell ya, nursing school is rough! So much coursework to tackle! I was looking at your other comments and noticed you struggled with health assessment too! Its my lowest grade so far. I wish I would've found another assessment book earlier on, but half way done now so I guess I do not need it?
+Kayla V Wow! I appreciate that compliment. I remember how hard it was being a nursing student and how low on cash nursing students are (esp. after books, study guides, tuition etc...there isn't much left over)...so I just wanted to help others out for free. Yes!! Health assessment was hard for me and I feel your pain. There is so much to remember and with it being the first semester you are just learning how to deal with nursing school. Hang in there....it is so worth. I promise! Being a nursing student and nurse are too different things. I enjoy being a nurse A LOT more!
+RegisteredNurseRN Thank you for that!! A lot of people are out there to get money not just to help other from the kindness of their heart! That's what a true nurse does! I am sure you are a wonderful nurse that is very loving and caring to her patients! I hope to be that way too. :)
I love you I love you I love you!!! You are my favorite nurse so far. God bless you and your husband tremendously and continue using you towards success!!! 💕
You're most welcome, Torie! I'm so honored I can you and your classmates out! You all are why I make videos....I remember my days as a nursing student....grueling and any help is welcomed lol ;-)
Each time I watch one of your videos, it gets more and more impressive, I don't know if you remember me, I'm doing my medschool. Simply put ~I'm a fan of yours now! Haha U're awesome!
Thank you so much, Gichin! Yes, I remember you...you commented on my heart blood flow video last time, and I remember you saying you were a medical student I'm very grateful for you using my channel to help you study and for taking the time to suggest my channel to your friends....very awesome! I wish you the best in your studies :)
Great videos!! Your lecture is so easy to follow because you explain it so good! You’re a blessing to all nursing students. Keep up the good work, good luck and more power!
Hi! I really love all of your videos that I've watched because of how you make it easier to understand and I'm so glad of all the mnemonics which helps a lot. By the way, I. just need to clarify on your hypokalemia notes under causes. Perhaps that is just a typo error on Cushing's Syndrome.."(High secretion of Aldosterone)". Anyway, thank you as always and all the best to you!
Hello Katherine :) Thank you so much for watching the videos! I needed to clarify it more and give more information in the notes. During Cushing's Syndrome, the adrenal glands can be affected which will cause them to produce excessive amounts of aldosterone (remember aldosterone causes the body to retain sodium/water but waste potassium). So, if too much aldosterone is produced this will cause the kidneys to excrete excessive amounts of potassium....which depletes the blood level of potassium. I hope the helps :) Thank you for pointing this out. I appreciate it!
Hey! I know you might not see this but I was wondering if you could do a review for pharmacodynamic and pharmacokinetics? MUCH LOVE ! YOUR HELPING ME THROUGH NURSING SCHOOL

i love watching all your videos coz it contains alot of good informations which is very effective learning tools in refreshing my knowledge and skills as a registered nurse,.i find it very interesting and more easy and fast to understand rather than reading the entire textbook. i just want you to know that few hours ago, i have watched your video about ABG interpretation and "WOW" twas so cool, finally i already understand it. i must admit that before watching your video i really have a hard time and confusion understanding about abg.... thank you so much for sharing your knowledge thru this site. you are very helpful to everyone.....GOD BLESS!
I am so glad a friend introduce me to your website. The way you explain the material makes my life as a nursing students so easy. Thank
+Vanessa Contreras I hope you ace your pharmacology exam! Thanks so much for our comment!

Kalemia's do the same as the prefix except for Heart Rate and Urine Output.. I got that from a review course and it seemed to really help me to remember S/S. :)
Also for diuretics....if it ends in X it X's out K+ plus Diuril (ex. Bumex, Lasix) These are brand names though..and I hear that NCLEX is now generic.
Great videos, great mnemonics, great presentations! You should consider opening a donations page. Would love to support your page! This is a priceless resource to us student nurses!

+RegisteredNurseRN It was definetly miserable and you're welcome. I always enjoy the videos. :)
Omg I love you! Not only did you describe sS and manifestations but you explained why and that helped me remember the big picture and see why we see and do what we see or do
I have just discover you in this new video . thanks so much all explanations are so clear and mam continue in this spirit.
Sarah i passed my fundamental final thank you soooooo much ...

Love all of her content. So informative. Also, I'm Aussie registered nurse and love her accent!
You are a Godsend! I always understand it better after watching your videos!
Thank you so much for the immediate reply and for explaining it further. : )))))
Hey! I know you might not see this but I was wondering if you could do a review for pharmacodynamic and pharmacokinetics? MUCH LOVE ! YOUR HELPING ME THROUGH NURSING SCHOOL
Thank you Madam. You are wonderful !!!
can you put the easy learning of respiratory system. your videos are awesome,it helped me in my final exam . thank you so much
Thank you so much for your kind words! I will be covering the respiratory system in the near future (once I'm do with cardiovascular). Right now here is everything I have on the respiratory system: th-cam.com/users/RegisteredNurseRNsearch?query=abgs%2C+respiratory%2C+chest+tubes
do you have something for nervous system? please share me the links .your CVS was very helpful for me for preparing for my final . many thanks .I'm from Nepal.
Very awesome to have a viewer from Nepal :) No, I currently don't have any videos on the nervous system. I hope to in the future though. Thank you again for watching my videos!
Thank you so much, the way you’re teaching is the best
Thank you very much for your free lectures. It's very nice ,clear and helpful. You said Corticosteriod is the one of cause for Hypokalemia.whats the relation with corticosteroid & Hypokalemia?please help me.
Corticosteriods causes the kidneys to retain sodium and waste potassium...so that is why you get hypokalemia.
Thank you very much.I got it.
Your videos are very beneficial , thanks you soooo much
Very good explanation thanks so much
