Is that stainless steel or they are painted?

It is SS. We produce from 304,316 and 430. We use glass blasting for making such surface. We do so since 2013.

To add to it: Never ever use anything else but stainless steel or copper for distillation purposes.
Painted and galvanized, like aluminum, are NOT safe materials.
