I remember my son had cancer and the Lord change the way I prayed for him some times it's not always easy I had rebuke but my Lord never let me deter I would pray Lord you know my son better than I do When you save him if he's not strong enough to serve please don't let me be selfish to want keep him here and him die and go to hell praise the Lord he is in heaven today

I sang this song in the choir at Bethel Bible College at the 1983 valedictory service as a freshman and the anointing came over the choir at the end of the song in so much that we had to use our composer to control ourselves.
Of course, God was at work! He's sovereign over all. And, "He works ALL things for good to those who love Him and are called according to His purpose." That's quite an amazing song of submission to God's will & plan. 💝

I sang this song at a weekend retreat. I had sung it many times prior to this, but this time was different. When I got to the 3rd verse, I started to sing,Take my houses and lands,change my dreams and my plans for I'm placing my whole life in your hands... When I got to, "And if you call me today to a land far away, Lord I'll go and your will obey." I started to cry at "Lord I'll go" In that moment God broke my will. The pianist went back in the song prior to this line but once again I cried and could not get through it. You see i had said NO to God. My husband had felt the call to go back overseas as career missionaries. We had been short term missionaries but I had been very homesick during that time and thought that was enough for me. God used this verse to break my will, "For whatever it takes for my will to break, that's what I'll be willing to do. We became missionaries to Spain and later England and remain to this day, now serving in Canada.

Hi Sir.Lanny Wolfe Im Ptr.Rey Malicdem 1982 when i accepted the Lord as my personal Lord and Saviour in Apostolic Pentecostal Church in YMCA under my Senior Ptr.Bishop Antonio R gallemit Sr. i'm one of the vocalist during YMCA days with my Music Director Ptr.Glenn Villarin you know him well...you know we're always sing your songs in our church until when i became a Ptr. i always sing your wonderful songs you've ever made its really so blessed.
It is only when we can say (and mean it) "whatever it takes" that we will really see results. My wife is not saved yet but LORD, whatever it takes....whatever it takes thats what I will be willing to do to see her with US in YOUR kingdom.
In 1976 I became a missionary to the American Indians and didn't know I was going to be. After about two months of being there, I asked God ... why am I here? We had a group come an sing at our church on the reservation.... this is the story how your song was used just for God to tell me why I was there: I think it was about in early November that I was thinking… Lord… why am I here… help me to understand why this has happen to me being a missionary. It was the following Sunday we were expecting the ‘Cloud Family’ to come to our church as special singing group for that morning service. Remember we all didn’t have cell phones, so knowing why they were so late in arriving… we just kept waiting. Finally, we figured something had happen, we were going to change our morning service, when their bus drove up… it had broken down on their way to our church… they were able to fix it… PTL! It was such a joy to listen for about three hours of singing, and while I was listening… my mind again was saying… Lord, why am I here? They had ended their singing, ready to say their goodbyes, when one of them said, God wants us to sing just one more song… I don’t know why… but maybe it is a special song just for someone here. Gracie, I now have tears in my eyes thinking about this special moment… that was just for me… a message from God to me. WOW! Listen to this song, for before I became a missionary, I said to God which by then I had forgotten that I said, “I want to draw closer to you, LORD, God.” This is a passage from my book that I am sharing soon on line... The Sky Pilot Mystery Series... though it may be a Novel with twelve chapters.
When Lanny started talking about the young people leaving the chapel to go eat, my mind went back to those days @GatewayBible College 😄 I was there about two years. Grateful to Lanny for teaching me and the spiritual lessons I learned. 👏👏👏👏🩷

This is one of my favorite songs to sing and play on the d drums while my father plays so beautifully on the piano.
