There are some underrated singers in the world, and Elina is one of them. I've seen Nightwish live, Tarja, Within Temptation and more besides, but I think Elina has a voice that ranks up there with these performers. (I've seen her live at least twice!), There is a unique quality to it, that I also really like, and I even prefer some of the Enkelination (Angel Nation) material over the Leaves Eyes stuff. Thank you for this, keep putting out new music, and hopefully when all this Covid crap is over we will get to see you live again!
Absolutely. I consider Elina to be one very small step behind Floor Jansen. Given the monstrous pedestal Floor occupies, that's a compliment. This one is a grab-the-tissue find, no question.
Well, Im not gonna level her up or down to anyone. She is an opera singer, unlike "some girls" who say they are (not Foor, she would never say something like that) but maybe some other ones with higher cheekbones, but she has her own unique sound in her voice and I like it. Jussi Siirala is a great pianist, Antti Siirala is even greater and Merit Palas playes violin better than you can dream of. Go Elina!
