Looks like an exciting finish for all eight of the spectators.
Better than people getting in there way like at the bs TDF
who needs fans when you can just sportswash
Flood the UCI world tour with money and voila you have all of february full of spectator free bike races in the Gulf where every stage looks identical.

Merlier looks fantastic! Maybe a Grand Tour sprint championship this season?
This guy absolutely has to go to the tour with evenepoel
Not sure they will allow the team to divide goals.
I think that Quickstep will either go with a full sprint team or full mountain team in the tour and I am leaning more towards a full mountain team.
@@BigBrownMonke I think they’ll unfortunately go for evenpoels gc all in, and he’ll be lucky to finish 3rd in the tour. It’s a shame cause I can see merlier really competing with philipsen and winning least two stages
@@BigBrownMonke yeah since evenepoel won't go to the giro they could bring a team for merlier there
He needs to be in tdf, cause after Remco dies in the mountains after the first week, they can quickly switch to green jersey priority.😃
What was going on with Jayco- pulling at the front whilst their sprinter was languishing in 20th position?
I'm curious to see merlier sprinting with jasper
Merlier won a stage at TDF in 2022 (the Cav year), for Alpecin. Then it was all about MVDP. Merlier was never really given another leadout- didn't matter to much though; he hasn't climbed very well in the past and needed a pancake flat stage. Looks lighter now, and much more confident, still a big boy. Rode a few CX races this year, rode well, and got one podium I believe. If he had been supported fully, protected and lead out, we wouldn't even be talking about Cav/35, Merlier would have beat him a couple of those times.
What happened to Groenewegen? I know his team dropped him off a bit early but then he just gave up and didn't contest the sprint.
That wasn’t special!! It was a waste of my time! Boringggggggg! 👎
Cycling has become BS! It’s all about a certain group of riders for a sprint finish. UCI might as well make all these races crits!! There’s no racing anymore just a group ride for over paid athletes
well fo and follow chess...
