XINJIANG, known as the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region is the largest and westernmost province of China. Geographically, it is a part of Central Asia. Its capital is Urumqi. Xinjiang features giant mountains, vast deserts, green grasslands, and gorgeous forests, as well as ancient history and rich culture. All of this makes Xinjiang a dreamland for explorers and adventurers.
TURPAN, known also as Turfan is one of the most interesting places in Xinjiang. It is known as the City of Grapes, and here you can see ancient ruins, colorful Uyghur culture, and a lot of vineyards. Turpan is also famous as the lowest point of Central Asia.

Yes, it is really beautiful and off the beaten. We wish you can visit Xinjiang soon!
Welcome to turpan!
Uygurian wold is beautiful! ❤
Yes, this is one of the most beautiful lands we have ever been- giant mountains, vast deserts, grasslands, forests, and unique local culture!
Xinjiang is more than just Uyghurs and Han Chinese folks, there are 47 ethnic groups living there with a population of 25 million, same population size as Shanghai or Taiwan region, even Australia.
Mongols and related minorities, other Turkic speaking folks like Tatar, Kazakhs, Uzbeks, Salars and Kygyz, Tuvans, Russians, Hui (Muslim Han Chinese) and Tajiks are the other residents.
@@noelborbon6155 Hui not chinese ! He is people from Central Asia region ! These are people deported from the artisan cities of Central Asia, including Uighur ancient cities by the Mongol Emperor Kublai for the construction of the city of Beijing
@@noelborbon6155 The Chinese called these people Shemuzhen ! Hui for the Chinese were strangers! Hui did not forget their religion Islam, but they forgot their language because they were far from their native lands and they were not allowed to live freely! They were not allowed to go home to their native Uighur and Central Asian territories!

And two years later, Xinjiang hosted the World Media Summit with even surprising attendance from major mainstream media organizations like Al Jazeera and Reuters!

I am going there..nice
Wish you have a nice trip there!
How do you go to Tourist Attraction in Turpan? Is there a combined Trip there??
Hi, actually, Turpan is small. We just used local taxis (in our case- DiDi car, but it is difficult to use by foreigners without Chinese bank account) to go around the points of interest. But as I know, there are local Chinese tour companies that provide 1 or 2-day tours in and around Turpan. However, they usually speak only Chinese. There is a tour for foreigners that I find here: www.getyourguide.co.uk/xinjiang-l1247/turpan-private-day-tour-t68523/?ranking_uuid=4c8657d5-2864-4ab5-9e9a-a89318731e09

Thanks...
Через 5 лет в провинции Синьцзян будет жить 70% хань , 20% уйгуры , 10% остальные нации.

Western media talks about repression of Uyghur muslims by China. If this is propaganda by western media then China should put facts before people. China has achived excellent quality life for her citizens. That is great. There is no majoritarianism in China like in India. In India hindu biggots have made the society communalised and polarised. China has excellent communal harmony and peace in the country and hence development followed.
Yes, that's right, China has significant improvement of the society. I don't know how much this is applied to the Uyghurs and how, and seems we should always be carefull with every media information we see and hear. But the things are much more complicated. It is not black and white, but there is a lot of grey, with a lot of different points of view. That's why I prefer to stay away from judging and getting firm position about it.
@@journeybeyondthehorizon6270, u should listen to those salafist uyghers how they prefer xinjiang should as a "east turkistan".
They prefer east turkistan more like Saudi-Arabia or afganistan than modern secular islam region as xinjiang.
Yes, unfortunatelly, there are people who have twisted moral standard (and they call it "righteousness"). For them the human life is not so important and can be sacrificed for something that they think is "God". But the real God, Who created the life has never required it, and they don't know Him... Anyway, I just hope the people in Xinjiang, no matter what ethnic group they belong, to live just a normal life in peace, like every normal human wants.

@@mikeandersson7962 Turkestan is nothing but a product of one Russian Sinologist who lived throughout much of Tsarist Russia and Qing dynasty era China days.
Soviet Turkestan are today's Central Asian countries and Azerbaijan. Chinese Turkestan is Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region.
This place looks great beautiful 😍! FREEDOM FOR UYGHUR FROM CHINA
Yes, the place is very interesting. I miss Xinjiang and the magnificent landscapes there...
They are free. Are you?
You are really saying: FREEDOM FOR NATIVE AMERICANS FROM USA
Uyghurs are free in China. The US and its puppets don't want them to be free.
Not xinjiang, only UYGHUR and UYGHURIA!!!
Yes, it is also Uyghur and Uyghuria (although the Uyghurs live mainly in the southern part of this region, the main population in the north are Kazakhs, Mongols, Chinese, and Oyrats), but its current official geographical name is Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region, shortly: Xinjiang. That's why use this most popular name here. Not for political purposes. :)
Xinjiang is homeland of 47 ethnicities. Calling it Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region is very misleading. Within Xinjiang, there are Ili Kazakh autonomous prefecture, changji Hui autonomous prefecture, bayanbulak Mongolian autonomous prefecture… etc
@@journeybeyondthehorizon6270 Thank you, but just a little correction: all the ethnic groups you mentioned are Chinese. Chinese stands for a nationality, not a particular race or enthnicity.
It is like only calling white people American, but call african americans as "Africans".
Xinjiang is the home of 47 ethnicities. Calling it only Uyghuria is an insult to other ethnicities and cultures. Let alone that most people kept calling it Uyghuria doesn't even understand what Uyghur culture is.
Yes, they are all Chinese citizens, that's right. The ethnic groups means particular group of people with different language and culture, in this case- minorities. But as a nationality- yes, they are Chinese.
Free Uyghur
And how about the others in Xinjiang? Mongols, Kazakhs, Pamiri Tajiks, Han Chinese, Kyrgyz? :)
@@journeybeyondthehorizon6270 Thank you! for being objective!
You are welcome. I just try to research and think. :)
Free yourself from your racism.
They are free. Free from salafism.
