Can you make it with ice cream etc. And with a face mold bc I’m trying to experiment how to make Ice cream molds for popsicle faces like SpongeBob etc. But with different characters
Can I just say how beautiful his lolipops came out? Traditionally isomalt cast molds always give me bubbles that I have to hit with a blow torch to remove bubbles !
Thank you. I’m newly interested in this type of thing, and still learning so much. I still need to study on the different types of formulas you have and how they work, but likely will be ordering some in the future.
I would love to see an easy tutorial for molding and casting animal horns. But difficult shapes like spiraled ram horns or big antlers. That would be awesome. I love to watch your tutorials...and now I'm craving a lollipop.
Pressure Systems (pressure chambers and compressors) offer the optimal method for creating molds and resin castings that are truly bubble free.Vacuum Systems (vacuum chambers and vacuum pumps that pull 29 inches of mercury) are used to remove the air from high viscosity materials like silicone rubber before pouring. They are also ideal for vacuum degassing liquid plastics for making bubble free castings.
@Smooth-On Can I sculpt out of Monster clay a custom shape/character then make a gang mold for lollipops??? A resin for multiple copies for gang mold???
Hey cool video, i found a local seller that has liquid silicone, the seller tells me all the silicone liquid are the same, is that true? If I wash it well is it safe for food using?
Thanks for watching J Gee. We do not provide moldmaking services, but we do have a list of moldmakers on our website: www.smooth-on.com/moldmaker/ Also, the reps at the Reynolds store can help you get started making your own molds.
You could use vaseline as a release for the second half. Can you send us a tech ticket? Our team can help you - www.smooth-on.com/support/ticket/add/agree/

Would it be terrible if I don’t use a vacuum chamber? I know it’s recommended but I cannot buy it for the moment ):
Nice work and nice flux capacitor powered thermal/pressure chamber!
Thank you for watching!
Hi there. Please, is there an alternative without the vacuum chamber?
Thank you. I’m newly interested in this type of thing, and still learning so much. I still need to study on the different types of formulas you have and how they work, but likely will be ordering some in the future.
Sounds great! Let us know if you need any help.

Hello Milo, good to see you. How is your car restoration project going? How many lollipop pours can be done with a mold like this?
question: what (tool) is that you are using to cut the plexiglass?
Artelias Aikens its a Dremel
Why do you vacuum the mixture in the bucket as opposed to in the mold, just after it's been poured? Do you not introduce new bubbles while you pour?

what is if you 3d print a lollipop shape ? how do you seal the 3d model as such that its not giving particles into the mold ?
XTC-3D would be a good choice for this.
Could you use the mold making silicone to make things out of the same material? I want to make my own thermos gaskets
Yes you can, Milo recently did a live stream discussing casting silicone - th-cam.com/video/RimHltjRMS0/w-d-xo.html
@@smoothon Thanks for the reply. This is great! Is there anything this stuff can't do?
@Smooth-On Can I sculpt out of Monster clay a custom shape/character then make a gang mold for lollipops??? A resin for multiple copies for gang mold???
Yes your master can be monster clay. We would recommend a mast casting resin such as Smooth-Cast 380 for a master model of your gang mold.
Is that a flux capacitor behind you???
Can i use the same material as my casting? Is this heat resistant?
Hey cool video, i found a local seller that has liquid silicone, the seller tells me all the silicone liquid are the same, is that true? If I wash it well is it safe for food using?
All silicone is not the same. Please call us at 1-800-381-1733 and we can walk you through the different types.
Is this mold available for purchase at your Easton / Macungie store? I would like this but with more cavities to make more lollipops at one time.

Your vacuum chamber needs to be able to withstand 29 inches of mercury - www.smooth-on.com/product-line/pressure-vacuum-chambers/
So with the molds can they be placed in the oven
Yes, at temperatures up to 450F
If I wanted to make this exact mold. What’s the best size from the site of the sorta clear should I purchase ?
The gallon unit.

How would you cast a 2 part lollipop mold?
You could use vaseline as a release for the second half. Can you send us a tech ticket? Our team can help you - www.smooth-on.com/support/ticket/add/agree/
Hello! Can I do this same method but filling with resin/epoxy?!
Absolutely!
Can you make a video (or explain) how to make an exact replica of an object with wood?
Do you mean how to make a mold of a wooden original like this? th-cam.com/video/htp8WhRpyF0/w-d-xo.html
