      Can you make it with ice cream etc. And with a face mold bc I’m trying to experiment how to make Ice cream molds for popsicle faces like SpongeBob etc. But with different characters

    Can I just say how beautiful his lolipops came out? Traditionally isomalt cast molds always give me bubbles that I have to hit with a blow torch to remove bubbles !

    I would love to see an easy tutorial for molding and casting animal horns. But difficult shapes like spiraled ram horns or big antlers. That would be awesome.
    I love to watch your tutorials...and now I'm craving a lollipop.

    @Smooth-On Can I sculpt out of Monster clay a custom shape/character then make a gang mold for lollipops??? A resin for multiple copies for gang mold???

    • @smoothon

      Yes your master can be monster clay. We would recommend a mast casting resin such as Smooth-Cast 380 for a master model of your gang mold.

    Why do you vacuum the mixture in the bucket as opposed to in the mold, just after it's been poured? Do you not introduce new bubbles while you pour?

    • @smoothon
      @smoothon  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Pressure Systems (pressure chambers and compressors) offer the optimal method for creating molds and resin castings that are truly bubble free.Vacuum Systems (vacuum chambers and vacuum pumps that pull 29 inches of mercury) are used to remove the air from high viscosity materials like silicone rubber before pouring. They are also ideal for vacuum degassing liquid plastics for making bubble free castings.

  • @GalaxyStranger01
    @GalaxyStranger01 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Hey, what kind of vacuum chamber is required for your products?

    • @smoothon
      @smoothon  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Your vacuum chamber needs to be able to withstand 29 inches of mercury - www.smooth-on.com/product-line/pressure-vacuum-chambers/
