Just wanted to say a MASSIVE thank you from the UK. The instructions that come with the aircraft are not the clearest with regard to which wire connects where (they don’t use a Spektrum receiver set-up for instance) and then there is the transmitter set up…as a complete newbie I thought this was going to be beyond me. 1st try on my own was a complete fail. 2nd try with advice from the shop where I purchased everything got me 25% further forward. Your advice has got everything up and running and ready for the flying field. I Googled for some clues as to how this trainer is set up and I saw lots of RC forum entries from beginners (who this model is aimed at) struggling with set-up - I hope the manufacturers/retailers connect your videos with their Bigfoot sales as it would save a lot of frustration for the uninitiated. Fantastic video. Thanks again!
Great video, very informative, I believe you mentioned spraying the plane with a clear paint, could you elaborate on the paint brand, type and how many coats needed for coverage or any other comments you might mention. Thank you
To be honest I don't remember, however i normally fly her with a 2700 back just a bit and flies great. So put your 2200 all the ways forward and you will be good.
Hi I’m 12 I have this same plane and I’m love flying this plane but one day I took it out the a grass field and was taking of and I hit a stump and the plane flip over I programmed a kill switch in to my flysky transmitter but by the time I kill the engine the plane started smoking and Rush over there to unplug the battery then I took a look at the plane and it looked perfectly fine so I started the engine back up and started and it would not go past around 10% throttle without jittering at first I thought it was an ESC problem but then I realize that the motor was fried. Anyways, I was just wondering if you had any tips on what I should’ve done or could’ve done to save that from the motor. Great video like always
I dont think you could had done any better having a throttle cut is always a MUST DO! Sounds like you threw out a magnet in the motor when you hit that stump. It happens! But no matter what DO NOT GIVE UP!!!!
