      I am a white Australian male 70 years old now a little fat needing a hip replacement. In 1971 I began a track and field 15 minutes of fame running track and field at university up to 1976.
      The first time I stepped on the grass track I ran 50 second time 49 third time 48. Nearly 50 years ago the girls have taken a ling time to catch up 🎉

    When you have to compare a 400m runner to a 400mh runner that tells you how great the 400mh runner is. Sydney McLaughlin has fantastic times in the 200m and 100mh as well. If Sydney concentrates on the 400m she will be the best in no time at all

    Although this young lady is fantastic, S Sydney ran 48.75 in only her first race. As oppose to this young ncaa champ ran all season to get this time. She will be a medal favorite, however, however, Pauline still the one to beat when it matters. Sydney has unfinished business with the much sped Euro queen, Femke Bol at the 400 hurdles. Once she dominates in Paris, Sydney will put full focus on 400 flat assist a boatload of competition unlike the hurdles. In addition, the 200 meters will also be in her future sights. I like Pryxe though.

      @@TrackAndFieldAllDay So what, you're still comparing a 400mh to a flat 400m runner. This article is click bait. Put Pryce in a 400mh race and see what happens. Pryce was .2 sec faster than Sydney and Sydney ran her race way back in March 2024 for training purposes so you're comparing a pre-Olympics race to a early season practice run.

    • @TaughtByTech
      @TaughtByTech หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@robeigner4390 It is not clickbait, he reported on what actually occurred. This girl indeed beat Sydney's world lead time. Many compared Sydney's 400m flat times to others in that event by saying Sydney would win gold if she ran it at the games. So just calm down as nobody is saying that Pryce would beat Sydney if they both trained all year for a 400m flat race.
