    Our group loves staying at Historical bed and breakfast in Matewan. Gas is 1 mile away and they have 93. Right across the street is Wingos and down the next block is the Mexican restaurant. Of course breakfast is provided. They have ice and snacks for the trail. IMO the best place to stay late fall.

    We just got back from Gilbert and stayed at Wildwood Cabins for the second time. They are amazing and the owner is super friendly and everything is top notch. Also seems to be less expensive then everywhere else. We have heard from a lot of people that the people in Twin Hollow is not very friendly.

      Thanks for adding a place others can check out. I didn’t have any issues with the folks at twin hollow when we stayed but my biggest gripe from there is they have multiple bath houses but will only let one mens and one womens open until after 6pm so you have to wait to get a shower if your camping and it’s before 6pm lol. 🤷‍♂️ will we see a video up on the channel of your visit?

    • @TheCanAmCrew
      @TheCanAmCrew  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Depends on what type of riding you like to do. For technical ivy branch is the hardest system and bearwallow is a close 2nd. Cabwaylingo is probably the easiest system but has some of the best outlaw trails around it. The southern 4 systems have lots of things to go see and have the most traveled outlaw trails. Flag rock, goldfish pond, beer can alley, reed junction, slurry pond, horses, rescue mine shafts. Those are all around the pinnacle creek system. Warrior is great for fast pace riding and has one of the best overlooks I’ve been to which is high rocks. Hope this helps. You can message me on Facebook or Instagram as well if you need some more info. We have videos on our channel of all these places mentioned above too.

    Videos are awsome...our group is looking to head that way in May...we're looking for good mud and technical trails, we ride Windrock most of the time, and a good place to stay...any help will be appreciated...

    • @TheCanAmCrew
      @TheCanAmCrew  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you like windrock I would check out ivy branch and bearwallow. Both systems have the harder technical trails but not very much mud. Hatfield McCoy is overly maintained so mud is hard to find unless you venture onto the outlaw trails surrounding Hatfield McCoy. The outlaw trails around pinnacle would be the muddy ones. Check out beer can alley. If your looking for cabins you can check out big earls campground, mountain mama lodging for ivy branch. Wv atv resort and Ashland resort for the southern trails like pinnacle, Pocahontas and Indian ridge. Rockhouse and buffalo mountain I highly suggest devils backbone adventure resort.

  • @gearjunkie3412
    @gearjunkie3412 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Would you know how long it would take to ride. From one end of the hatfield mccoy trail system to other end. I know there's many trail systems. But a rough guess on how long to ride. From the most northern trail to the most southern. Traveling the other trails in between. I'm planning on riding the entire system. And primitive camping along the way when a cabin isn't available.

    • @TheCanAmCrew
      @TheCanAmCrew  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      We’ve been planning to do that at some point so I have a little bit of it figured out already. Ivy branch down to Pocahontas and back up. Down one side of the system and back up the other. We planned a week to hit all 10 systems. 3 days down and 3 days back. I think that’s easily do able.

Thought about mine and medows but i work in a coal mine and have taken my wife on a mine tour.So wouldn't be anything new to us but it's just 1hr and 50 min from the house didn't know if the trails where fun.
