That area is a lot of reclaimed land from surface mining. Very open, fast trails. I live in Gilbert, between the Rockhouse, and Devil Anse sections. Narrower, rougher, and steeper. Like you said…. The HM Trails have whatever suits your riding style. I actually ride our “outlaw” trails on the weekends, and ride on the HM trails, through the week, when there aren’t as many riders on them. They DO get sketchy, with people coming towards you in the blind sections. Haha
Great stuff, love the drone footage of the trails too. We just went to Bear Wallow I'll be throwing up some footage in the next few days. I liked, subscribed and click your notifications. Keep up the great work.
you should consider the Mud Pit resort as well, its fenced in with an automatic gate and attendant, and its close to the trail opening, just a suggestion. loved your drone footage of your ride
I'm glad you both had a great time I was there in 2018 state of Ashland resort blew my rear axle boot second day there I rode shotgun my buddy Anthony and his Can-Am xx3 I think.lol. I also noticed you enjoy the water going across the trails and then down the side of the mountains I love that it's so beautiful there. We're heading down in July and in September. One of the rides we're meeting up with the Fisher off-road family I'm excited thank you for your awesome video. 518 local Sunday riders. Off-roaders.
Thanks, John! I appreciate it! Really appreciate the subscribe as well! We watched a ton of videos before our first trip, it definitely helps. Glad you got some good info. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions! Thanks again for the support and kind words!
Great editing on the video, we spend a week HMT staying at Ashland Resort, great accommodations. We hit IR, pocahontas, Pinnacle creek, and Warrior from the resort. Warrior is my favorite to ride and ride to. Heading there in June.
Thanks a lot, Nate. I really appreciate it. I’ve been doing a bunch of work trying to get my videos to a better level. Work in progress! We’ve heard nothing but great things about Warrior. I just booked a cabin at Ashland for June as well. Really looking forward to trying Warrior and Pinnacle Creek. Do you ride straight from Ashland to Warrior or do you trailer? I’ve been curious about the best route to get there. When in June are you headed back? Thanks again for the kind words!
@@randywoodson3368 You do the same. There is a connector trail when heading over to Pinnacle Creek that will take you to Warrior. Have to drive through some old towns before getting there. Leave early and fill up when you can. Connector you can open it up. Be safe, maybe someday we can meet up.
Great video, love the drone aspect. We stayed at Ashland this past August and rode Pinnacle, Indian, and Pocahontas over a 5 day trip, so much content I edited out almost half of it lol. Can't wait to get back again.
I think that the Hatfield trails are some of the best trails to ride, they offer something for almost everyone. We have been twice and are going back in May. It is really nice there in the fall! 👍🏻
We totally agree. Great trails for everyone. We just booked our return trip for the end of June. We love our fall trips to Tennessee but I think we are going to do some more HMT exploring this fall. Good stuff!
The wife and I love riding all the HMT. Finally got my Outlander back together and we have reservations Memorial Weekend to ride Cabwaylingo, Ivy Branch, Devil Anse, Buffalo Mountain & Rock House. Be careful out there.
Awesome! We are looking forward to riding those trails you mentioned very soon! Glad you got your Outlander back together! Hope you have a great ride Memorial Day Weekend ride! You all be safe as well! Thanks for the comments!

@@randywoodson3368 I only live about 5 miles from Twin Hollow campground. Trails are pretty crowded during October, so always watch for oncoming riders. Other than that… I really think you’ll enjoy! If you have any questions, hit me up. 🤙

How far was this resort from the trail? I saw you traveled down the road so I wasn't sure if that was to another trail or not? :) awesome video though!
The resort is 4-5 miles from the Pocahontas trail system and it’s right on the Indian Ridge system. Some of the road driving was from the other end of the trail system when we were headed to lunch. Which was another couple of miles on the road. We never rode more than 4-5 miles at a time before getting to a trail head on this trip. Thank you! Glad you liked it!
Thanks a lot, I really appreciate the kind words! I hope you and your wife have a great trip! Where are you all planning on riding when you go? The rack is from AFX Motorsports out of Texas. They were great to deal with and the rack is super well made and very heavy duty. Would highly recommend.
I think we are going to the Devil Anse atv resort. We are coming from michigan. Thanks for the info on your rack it just what I've been looking for.. we have a lot of those high speed trails here in Michigan that you talk about. Give us a shout if you plan a trip to Michigan 👍💯.

@@kinomorrison8004 absolutely man. They are interesting to shop for sure. I like this one, I’d rate it one of the nicer trailers on the cheaper end of the spectrum. It’s got #5200 axles, 7ft interior, real plywood vs particle board. Id love to buy a 24ft aluminum trailer next. Good luck to you on the search.
I noticed the trailer as well, interesting to see how well your X3 fit. I also noticed the break away chains, not to be a smart ass or try to tell another man how to do things, but if you cross the chains, if it comes loose not only will it keep it attached but also provide a cradle to catch it and keep it off the highway and easier to safely stop.
