Nice System, but only panels i believe in is JA and Canadian, i got 4 JA 540w and drawing over 2kw. I also got a Ecco setup but the 24v system 3.5kw 100amp MPPT and max 4000W SOLAR. So only going to get two more panels and i,m done. Thinking of moving over to a JK BMS for my Ecco battery pack because i want to see each cell voltages. Try to get the same panels that you have on the roof.
The bms is super important for the life of your batteries. I did manage to accumulate 12 panels in total.so a little shy of 6 kw because each panel has a maximum output of 495 watts. But the voltage in series is about 430v and the inverter is rated at 500v so I guess I'm done.
How do you rate the ECCO brand? Had a Five Star but it went kaboom after 4 years about. I think i had a spike. Anyway, looking to replace with something not too costly
Hi I think it's pretty good for the money.but this is new model and iv only had it for about a month. So how long it will last I don't know.it has rs485 communication to the batteries so battery management is pretty reliable and accurate. I gt the 6.2 kw one. I've heard guys complaining about the 5 kw ecco inverter that supports parallel inverters. But if you thing about it. Something goes wrong with 1 it could affect the others so I didn't go that route. The 6.2 is like 7k so not too expensive if it lasts only 5 years it's ok
