Intro to Christianity is usually the go to recommendation that most will give. I typically recommend starting with his memoirs “Milestones,” because it gives you a look into his personal life, which helps you understand where he’s coming from and who influenced him. Another good place to start is “The Nature and Mission of Theology.” I’m currently working on a book about him right now. Once that’s published it will provide a good overview of his thought, showing the connection between topics as well as an intro into his life.
