- The Final Steps: Becoming an Adirondack 46'er is a short documentary highlighting both the journey of the last hike Stephan Washburn had to complete before becoming an Adirondack 46'er as well as some of the best and worst memories that led up to this accomplishment. Through an in-depth POV of the last hike and interviews, Stephan brings you through his story of what it was like climbing his first high peak at age 10, to finishing the journey almost 15 years later.

Mom & Dad for all the hikes you brought me and Alex on and for introducing the Adirondacks to our family

Thank you so much!
Awesome video. I moved to SC before I could finish. I have 7 left to go so I’m eager to visit a start knocking those peaks down.
Exceptionally unique storytelling paired with an exuberant passion for the sport makes for a beautiful love letter to the Adirondacks. Congrats brother, and thank you for sharing this wonderful moment!
These words mean the world to me, thank you Z ♥
Congratulations bro!!
Ive never wanted to go hiking more in my life 🏔
Great video. Algonquin is my favorite peak but I was blessed to do the upper range on one cloudless day wit 6 older boys, Gothics, Saddleback, Basin, Haystack, then down the Phelps trail to the Garden. Climbed Marcy 6 rimes always from Avalanche Lake up to Lake Tear and 4 corners. They had lean tos up there when we did it (1962- 1968). You could pull into the parking lot at Adirondack Loj, only 4 cars were there and you could grab any lean to you wanted.
