- This little pocket rocket of a journal is a breeze to work in. Not only is it the perfect size for double layouts and working quickly, its ultra thick cotton rag paper is to die for. It withstands lashings of wet media and does not bleed through (except the binding somewhat) to the other pages! Win. I am in love.
This little journal was created as a shop sample for Bev's Cross Crafts (www.bevscrosscrafts.com.au) and all the mediums used in it are available in her shop. Over the coming weeks on Fridays - there will be process videos on all the pages created in this book (however - some have a more full process video on this channel already - check out the older videos).

I have this journal, too, and just love it and want it to last so I've switched to one page spreads lol.
Thank you so much - I may have splurged and bought another 3 of them. This was was made for a shop - so not technically mine, and I am considering using the other ones to do the 100 day project in. But the size is so great for double page spreads - so I don't know what to do!!! Have a ball creating in yours x

I love the 6” X 6” Journal! The others are so big and daunting! I don’t like them. I have the birds stamps, where did you get the bigger ones? Your last page-GORGEOUS! Keep making more videos please, I’m a new subbie, too.
Thank you so much and welcome. The bird stamps are the red rubber ones - I think they are only in the one size - but I could be mistaken. The 6in journal is my current favourite - so fun to work in. You're covered for videos - I have 2 a week scheduled to June :) x

Help I need your advice, when I do ghosting with a stencil & baby wipe my paper starts to flake where I've wiped. My page is gessoed and the gesso is dry before I do the ghosting. I don't know what I'm doing wrong 😢 I have the medium size DW art journal.
That seems weird? Is your wet wipe too wet? Sometimes it is better to only have a damp wipe as it just takes off the top layer, so won’t soak underneath and affect the paper. But if you’ve gessoed that shouldn’t be an issue.. What paints are you using? Not all gessos are equal- maybe test with another one, or use white acrylic paint instead and see if it works better? Or seal with gel medium first. Hope that helps a bit x
Where did you find the journal?
I got the journal from Bev's Cross Crafts in Tasmania (www.bevscrosscrafts.com.au) but if you are from another country - I think most scrapbooking shops that sell mixed media will have it - or you can order directly from Ranger Ink.
