hey Lavanya congratulations on clearing CDS exam. I have given 2 TECH-ENTRY SSB & let me tell you that they give you rough sheet for calculations & yes the time given for solving OIR is less compared to the No. of Questions but let me tell you that the questions are quite easy to medium side & obvious some are also on hard side as well but it's always the way you solve the set & how fast you can solve the questions & how many questions you do correctly & how much time you take to do it so yes time management is crucial point for solving the OIR test but please don't be nervous or think that it's something hard that I need to figure out bcoz ssb is all about your personality and how you represent yourself in front of accessors and your team. some tips I would like to give you is Just try to enjoy the whole process & be original and natural as much as you can be bcoz it's a whole 5 days process, be mindful, be in present moment, have sense of presence & have positive mindset. bcoz of nervousness I lost my 1st chance so don't be nervous and please please don't listen to anyone & their advices if they don't resonate with u or you feel like their advice is making you think negatively or make you feel nervous bcoz there are some candidate/ repeated candidate who do this to eliminate their competition & especially if they know that you are a fresher bcoz it has happen with me while going for ssb on train journey so please be careful from these kind of candidates & lastly make some very very good friends bcoz no matter what result you will have at the end but it's always about the experience you will have so make sure you will enjoy the process bcoz ssb is not just a 5 days process of interview it's whole package of experience, memories you'll cherish, friends you'll make, tests you'll give & last but not the least mistakes you will make and from which you'll learn and try to improve yourself not just for the next time but for your whole life & yes it's a game of mindset also.

One thing i want to tell you ki aap cubes ke questions kar ke hi jana q ki maine kai ssb diye hai and in my first ssb cubes ke questions aa gye the jo ki mujhe tough lage baki to asan hi tha
oir didn't carry much weightage in screening
my advice is to focus on ppdt part

I am 1st year student and I also want to get into the forces.
For it I also gave the NDA EXAM that is for 10+2 level but I couldn't clear it because I was weak in maths and science. This September one was my last attempt but could make it through.
So now I have started my preparation for the cds exam .
"Just wanted to know that am I in the right path like prepaing from the 1st year is it like good that I have started early or should I start my preparation after completing my graduation "
