I bought this bike around 4 months back here are the points I have encountered in this bike 1. Power pull in 2nd gear was soper awesome direct competition between Speed 400 and Duke 390! Just imagine few years back RE got trolled by low speed engines!!! This GRR 450 will be nightmare for them 2.Digital cluster and details in the meter was good in this segment compared to others 3.Mine was Brava Blue so maintaining the color was mandatory one but i loved it 4.Dont buy any after market equipments since this chasis has issues in the Himalayan 450. I suggest everyone to buy accessories from RE dealers 5.All Led set up and fit and finish was okayish and seat height too Drawbacks(Can be practiced and solved): 1.Chunky tires not providing grip in the wet roads!! Sudden breaks on the wet road will make you slide in the road 2.Google map casting is draining mobile charge 3.As everyone said 1 to 2 gear shift problem i faced too when I tried to start once signal is green i tried to upshift from 1 to 2 two times but it ended up with N after that i had to harshly upshift that gear. I think its problem with Slipper clutch set up 3.Ofcourse 450CC should not expect much mileage but after completing 1st service and going to be 2nd service in fewer days i got 19 to 22 nly!! Have a plan to manage that expense too.Others please Comment your Mileage too😅 P.S If some orange kiddo raised their throttle infront of you! No worries change to performance and give full throttle he will not even reach you!!! If i want to complete this with 2 word means it is Pocket Rocket 🚀
@@thillaianantham1568 agreed with the drawbacks, 3.Tyres act like they are made of plastic in the wet. 2.The navigation drains but if you are using the charging port it doesn’t. The main issue is the heating of the phone and bad connectivity with iOS. 3.the gear setup was more like a “adjust to it” thing for me, no more falls in neutral. Currently I get a mileage of 19-20 in city(pune) and 27-30 on highways.
i want to use the bike as a daily driver, roughly around 20km daily, mostly in traffic and not so good road. do you get tired after using clutch frequently and slow riding also is it heavy when riding slow in traffic. which one would you prefer for me triumph speed 400 or guerilla . please reply ❤
@@pesking2396 well, If you are going to ride in the city , you aren't going to enjoy both of them a lot. But speed 400 is a better option, bcz: 1. Light cluth 2. Lesser weight 3.All gears are responsive( in grr 450 the first gear is really non usable. It has no torque) 4. Better mileage. 5. Linear power delivery.
@@SarthakShivajiGawari One More Question Can you please specify at which particular RPM does Vibration creeps in And How is the Vibration on the Tank area Specially around Thigh part where we grip the tank Please Reply
@@Nikhil-iw1uc sorry for replying late , The rpms between 5-6k and 8-9k rpms are vibey. The tanks has some vibes but for me it was the footpegs and handlebar that had them more . I’m a proud Guerilla owner and yes - the gear shift isn’t as smooth. There are a lot of times 1-2 is a bit harder than usual. I’ve learnt that, half clutch plus slow shifts do the trick. If you shift it right, you will not hear a sound but will feel the shift when you do.
Can agree for almost a week it screwed me up a lot that the bike was taking more effort from 1st to 2nd and almost always falling in neutral, which is exactly opposite of my jawa that never falls in neutral when the engine is on. Tho it doesn't happen now and ya the first gear always makes you feel like you need to upshift may it be at 6k or even 2k rpms, so yeah the first gear is real bad but the second gear is strong just from 2k rpms making the bike easy to go at even speeds of 10kmph in the second gear easily!
@@whoisthere.7 correct. Something doesn’t feel organic there 😂 But, I purely fell in love with this bike just merely on the torque it carries in the 2nd gear. Pure bliss 🥹 1st gear feels super dummy-ish. Straight opposite of 2nd gear 😆
After owning a jawa 42 bobber , then buying the GRR 450 was a big journey. It shifted the way I thought about riding. It’s up to you, take a test ride and you’ll understand the 450 engine and that frame can be anything you want. Wanna go fast? It can . Just cruise? It can. Want good mileage? It can. Go a lil off road? Heck it can! If you are confused about what you really want , a cruiser, a top of the rpm screamer or an off road capable chassis , the 450 platform is accepting to anything you wanna do with it with just a few mods ! It isn’t the best in any of the above categories but it sure is good in them . It is THE URBAN ANYTHING . If you want versatility and reliability over something that is purely focused on a single aspect (i.e. duke is just speed) then it is for you my friend!
