Matrei is approximately half way between Innsbruck & the Italian border at Brenner/Brennero, on one of Europe’s most important North-South freight routes.
1112 hrs: DB 185 576-6 northbound with an intermodal service.
1119 hrs: Lokomotion’s 193 776-2 with another northbound intermodal service
1120 hrs: ÖBB 1116 276-7 & 1293 083-2 top & tail a southbound ROLA service
1123 hrs: ÖBB Talent 4024 029 arrives with S3 service to Hall in Tirol via Innsbruck Hbf
1129 hrs: ÖBB 1293 084-0 brings a northbound ROLA service to a stop at the station.
1131 hrs: 1293 082-4 trails, as the ROLA service departs
1133 hrs: 4024 082 arrives with S3 service to Steinach in Tirol
1141 hrs: 1216 007-5 with EC83, 0934hrs ex München Hbf to Bologna Centrale
1143 hrs: 1293 063-4 leads an LKW Walter intermodal service north
1151 hrs: Southbound intermodal service, led by 193 666-5 (X4E-666) & 193 669-9 (X4E-669) grinds to a halt as S3 service to Innsbruck Hbf arrives.
1154 hrs: 4024 025 departs with S3 service to Innsbruck Hbf.

Seems like as very busy location. The ROLA trains are interesting. Do you have any close-up shots of the wagon bogies? The carriages seem so low to the track. Thanks for posting.

From Brenner to Worgl, is EUR269, but in the opposite direction is is EUR309 for the heaviest trucks.
