- In this review I cover the CMMG Resolute 300 Mk17. One of the newest options from CMMG for their Banshee and Resolute is the Mk 17. The Mk 17 takes P320 mags. Wait.....not Glock mags. If you own a Sig P320 or M17, this may be the setup for you. Like all CMMG products, the quality is amazing. It may not be for everybody since you are saddled with one style of magazine. Cmmg makes phenomenal firearms! I've had my resolute 300 in 7.62x39 for about a year and put roughly 1,000rds through it so far with absolutely zero issues. Troy flip up battle iron sights is all I have rn and i couldnt be happier. 80% of the ammo was steel tula and it loves it. Brass S&B works great too.
Couldn’t agree more. I just got a banshee in 7.62x39 to test out. It runs like a champ.

Awesome review! I’ve been looking into PCCs and LOVE the fact it takes P320 mags. How does this perform with hollowpoints?
Tommy K the only hollow points I shot through it was 147 gr Federal. I had no issues, ate everything I put through it.

I've got a Banshee 300 that I SBRed, and I'm thinking of getting a Resolute 200 upper (since when you're buying just the upper the only upgrade is the charging handle) just to have "two guns in one" as well as get a spare BCG. Waste of money or would the 16" barrel offer me anything substantive?
It really depends on what you’re trying to get out of it. Longer barrel is almost always going to give you greater velocity. If we’re taking pistol caliber I wouldn’t go 16” personally if I already had the shorter barrel. That’s just my preference though.
@@AbelCompanyArms Yeah, it's 9mm. Unfortunately CMMG doesn't sell the 9mm BCGs solo unless you're buying an upper or a barrel replacement along with them. -_-
