@@defcon3security782 hey I was wondering if you can talk about dealing with homeless on property and drug addict and dealing with the same person everyday over the same thing and trespassing them. and not getting mad or upset over dealing with the same person everyday. im new to security and want to stay professional.
Your a good guy Mike, looking out for the people who no one's looking out for. PD didn't show up but, Defcon 3 did, respect. Take care of yourself Mike. Peace :)
I had a question only an experienced officer like you could answer. How common is it that a company would be willing to put you on 12 hour shifts 5 days a week? Like if you applied to 10 armed guard jobs how many do u think would offer 12 hour shifts 5 days a week?
I've worked for a few companies that put me on 12-hour shifts 6 days a week it's common in the garden industry not enough guards so basically two guards breaking up a 24-hour shift
Wow you know as I continue in my security career I realize more and more that this is the way to go. Like defcon even if I find a job making 30 an hour. If I’m working 8 hour shifts at 30 an hour vs if I go back to the very first job I worked here which was 20 an hour but gave me 5 days a week 12 hour shifts (daily OT) at the end of the day, that 20 an hour job giving me 12 hour shifts I would still be making way more money there then the 30 an hour job giving 8 hour shifts. I think I’m done chasing that high dollar per hour figure and going to go back where I started when I first got to LA it’s funny because through this journey I’ve come full circle and realize the first job I had was the best one lol

hey bro, a little advice if you dont like close quarter combat, throw your hand held pepper spray away and get yourself a Byrna non-lethal. I have both the pistol and Tactical Combat Rifle and i have inert rounds and pepperball rounds, trust me bro it works awesome. I work armed guard as well and i carry about three items that throw projectiles, my main firearm, the Byrna non-lethal, and the Pulse or X26 taser
@@defcon3security782 actually they are not illegal in CA because If you look on their website they do have a CA certified test you take in order to get pepperball and tear gas ball. I emailed them my armed guard card ID number and photos of my armed guard card and they approved
Good thing you had the protection on who seemed like they were trying to car jack you. Crazy world man. Take care Mike.
Thank you sir I agree I don't know what the outcome would have been had I not been carrying protection

Bro, it’s time to post something.
Miss you man.
The good thing about my graveyard shifts is listening to your calming voice telling stories.
😇
If all works out I will post a video today
Love it. Thanks bro.
And I think you should apply for police officer in North Carolina, but pray first with your wife. Ask the Lord for wisdom.
Also imagine what a crazy amount of followers you will gain if you start posting about your journey to become a LEO.
Bless your soul brother, you need to take law enforcement as a job, you'd be a great officer
Suicide by security guard?..
