I think the real thing we learned here is that Garnt has to look at his keyboard to type

I didn't figure it out until chat spoiled it either. I was having same issue, with going "one slice". And even when chat did figure it out, my first reaction was "but it's not a piece?", until I figured out it was not meant to be thought of as "a single piece", but instead a pun on how "pizza" is related to Pi, and "piece" starts with pi in the name too. Also sort of sounds similar.
So you should read it as "One pizza" instead of "one slice". ..Though it really did itself a disservice by only having a single slice in the image, as that was a huge red herring. Should have been an image of a whole pizza to avoid that.

And he was correct, sword dance _is_ a stupid name for a show, as it's a real thing. That's why they named it blade dance instead.

@@ShaggyRogers1 I couldn't stand it once they introduced the daily crap for completed series. Why can you read all released chapters when it's still running but once it wraps up it's time gated? Makes no sense other than corporate greed.
@@NiSE_Rafter You must not have used the platform that long, and haven't paid attention to those still running series. Webtoons has locked its "well performing" series on a time limit or pay fashion. Even years ago, it was common to see the first 3 and most recent 3 chapters for a series as "free", but all of the chapters in the middle being paywalled.

I am equally as entertained by Garnt's fails as I am impressed by how many animes that he knows.
As much fun as it was watching Garnt do all these, I'm just happy people remember gems like Excel Sage and Samurai Flamenco exist. Although the gatchaman crowds theme cut in was just aces, what a fantastic bop.

The Vampire Hunter D one wasn’t fair. They use the art from the original novels instead of screenshots from any of the animated movies. I recognized it automatically, but that’s because I’m a fan of the novels. I have read most of them, but most people would not be aware because the art styles differ so drastically between it and the movies.

"Naruto" is just a spiral fishcake. The ones used in ramen is a type of it but not all of it. It's like how not all noodles are ramen, not all fishcake is what you think it is.
