3nm chips are smaller and are way more effecient than normal ones and are even faster and you are telling me to improve my knowledge bro just look at yourself you don't even know diff between 3nm and 4nm chips and if apple is making a 3nm chip then I bet it's way more faster than you could imagine.Cry more
@poojamishra341 I am a system analyst and a random guy on youtube who hasn't even looked at silicone up close tells me that I do not know the difference between transistor sizes. Remember how a 5nm chip A15 was beating 4nm chips because it was built on a better fabrication process? while thread size may look cool to you, it entirely depends on how well it is designed and how efficiently it was made, not just the number. Chip designs are way more than just transistor sizes. with what's going on with the TSMCs 3nm process, it doesn't seem like it's beating its own improved N4P anytime soon. 3nm may look and sound cooler to isheeps like you, but to burst your bubble, tsmc is facing trouble with yields, which means most of it is badly manufactured and only a part of the chips off of that silicone disk are usable. It will take some time to get a 3nm process right to its maximum efficiency. The leaks point to this as well, SD 8gen 3 is beating A17 with larger gains of 50% vs 15 to 18%. On different performance parameters, sd8gen3 is already ahead with a ratio of 29 vs 10 on A17.
