Love all your Go 2 tutorials. as a newbie Go 2 user, they are better than anything else I've seen on TH-cam or the vendor's website. Might you do a video on how to manage all the large files we create with the Go 2? Specifically, how to store them in the cloud and still be able to recall them onto our phones to edit them in the Insta360 app, since the computer version of their editing app is not as powerful as the phone version? Thanks for any further guidance you might provide.

Thanks, great and easy to follow instructions. I just got my Insta360 X3 and are playing around with it. What's a bit fustrating is that it's possible to jump cut in the Android app, but you need to do all the re-framing in this app too.
I would be a much higher value to be able to also do both cutting and reframing in the Insta360 Studio - or at least the reframing that is much better to do on a big monitor.
Hope to see this feature soon - or mayby a work around :)

great video. i see you have a huge magnet stand, does that work for the car if i want to put it on my hood or roof to record while driving? if yes, how fast have you gone, wondering how it holds up speed wise and if itd last in a freeway 80mph speed. have you found any good video tools to edit on pc? cant seem to sit and edit video for long periods of time.
Yes you can put the magnet stand on your car hood or roof. On smooth tarmac road without any bumps or potholes, 70mph is fine using the 10cm spacer.

Hi love your vids so helpful and help many am sure. Question if you can help please . I taken a lot of photos with one X and sod law my HD failed ! But l managed to get some images back but all are Jpeg. Not insp to and other format just Jpeg and am not able to stich them anymore. Looks for weeks but not been able to find any software that can help . As you have many skills in this filed can you please help ? Thanks
hmm they can only be INSP and RAW out of camera... so i am wondering why they are jpeg? Won't be able to process dual fisheye jpegs in insta360 studio unfortunately!

I was away for 3 weeks and saw the update. Thanks for explaining it. World of difference!...But tell me. When we export our edited snippet, what happens to the original video on the camera? Is it as original and how do we delete it if we care too? I know formatting will delete all. Thanks mate!
The original video will always stay original. The edits are non destructive. You can delete the videos either from the camera when you preview it (swipe right from left of screen), or via the app in album tab
Nice. I had jsut update the app. However just to check if you know of anyway to backup the edited videos and photos from the Apple App? Reason being that these photo and video files are huge in size and my phone is running out of storage. THanks.
Just gotta send it to the cloud or store on pc / external hard drive

Hi I likes your video tutoring . Now I got got my insta 360 one x2.It’s so impressive a month ago. First start charging and get very hot about 15 minutes before battery reach full. I disconnected to avoid burning. Next day connect again to a full charge.
Then on my trip,I open usb-c cover to recharge, then it flew away. I lost it. Disappointed. When they have part sale good price in USA? I need to cover and protect dust …and continue to take videos lessons from your tech . Thank you so much.

Yes Insta360 got iso priority mode! 😄 this is when the iso is fixed and the shutter speed is auto
The time jump is nice. But does there any way to slice the individual cuts? Example instead of the far, near and close lion jump cuts. Is there a way of haveing the cuts into three individual cuts?
You will need to use the spilt tool which is available in the story editor

I have a question. I have my Insta360 One R set to loop recording, so that it works like a dashcam when driving. But want to also use the footage to create a story. I can trim and edit clips from the loop, but they don't show up when I go into story creatie. Only the clips I created when I shoot normal video (not loop recording) shows up in the story creator.
Is there a work-around for this?
I don’t think so. You will need to report it to Insta360. Hopefully it will be a feature in a future firmware update 👍🏽

I watched with interest having just bought the camera, One X2, but I am not seeing the same easy way you demonstrate, I use Samsung phone so my screen isn't the same, can you do a video for Samsung please?
I watch many 360 x2 instructions proved the camera is good to buy .Then I saw most comments are good.Then few of them mentioned it’s wasted monies. They said even out the box and shoot last 30 minutes or others say not working….no refund or will send to China to fixed take months at the owner expenses.also China collect all our data : was it true or fall?
My question is how to buy a new one, not refurbished, used or damaged from Amazon or super stores in new York .I hesitated to buy but I like it .

No - you will need to export your video and add the lut in LumaFusion
Would you recommend editing on the app or editing on a desktop?
Depends what you’re trying to make. The app is decent for Instagram stories. I edit on desktop for TH-cam
If you add music, how do you eliminate or reduce the volume in the video track? Tx!
You can tap each clip and reduce the “volume” to 0
Hi mate, I’m having issues importing. I have an iPhone 12 Pro and I’m running ios15.
For example, I have a 30 second timelapse video I am trying to export in auto settings. The video exports as an 18 minute and 47 second long video. It is unwatchable. This also happens with any other videos I’m trying to export. Regardless of custom or auto export settings. Please help, I got this camera for ease of use and don’t want to return it
Hi Shanil, however with this new update, I am getting only 1080p resolution for export. Previously used to export in 2160p. The mobile I am using is same OnePlus 7T. Can you suggest any solution to this issue ? I don't have a faster laptop to Studio processing. Thanks for your time.
Insta360 updates the app often. And it seems like they limited the export resolution. I don’t know why though

Do app backup before installing the update. On my S9 the cam preview is black and no scene view.
How does the app work on phones with low end processor?
and does it work well on dimensity 1200 just like snapdragon 780 series?
You need a high end smartphone or the app will not perform well

You might be able to download an earlier version from Insta360's website download section. Eventually the updates start to slow down on older phones 😕

How can I get this app to work on a PC rather than an iPhone or iPad? Can you run the app within an emulator such as blue stacks? I really love the app! But I hate working on tablets and phones when I have a powerful PC ready and waiting.

insta360 studio can only edit a single video clip at a time. so to combine 30 videos into a single video you will need to use a video editor after you export the 30 clips from insta360 studio

Well, I found your latest video and it is the app I have on my Android phone (the phone is new). BUT I try to follow you and I have no success. I tap what you tap, then you tap something that's not on my screen. Very frustrating. I just want to be able to CUT and delete the front of my video and/or the back. Then I'd like to be able to cut something else in the middle. Piece of cake in my regular video editing software but impossible for me with the cell phone. Guess I will use the PC editor as that seems user friendly.

What's a good place to get music?
Epidemic if you have money, the app or TH-cam for free stuff…
At the low end is Audiio for a one off fee for their music library. And at the high end is epidemic sound and artlist. Have a listen to both libraries and see which one your prefer 👍🏽

Mine failed after being underwater for the first time. It was fully sealed and water got into one camera. Electronics continue to work except one camera. They said they would have to look at my camera in the USA to expidite, but they coordinated shipping so I have to send it back to the factory in Hong Gong to be looked it.
I would stick with GoPro, they have much better desktop software. Insta360 desktop software is awful. Maybe I'll have a working unit by Fall.
The Company should be making these Tutorial Video's. Not you, but Thanks anyways for spending the Time to make it. The company insta360 would be more thorough on each version that comes out if insta360 make Tutorial videos. It showed insta360 added TImeStamp to version 1.6. Your video doesn't have that. 😔

5 New features and at list one removed - Flash cuts editing.
In Flashcut mode am not able to change music or replace a clip. Earlier I was able to replace the clips in Flashcut mode as well. Has it been removed?
Yet the app still only shows the crappy small image on a phone because it won't auto-rotate when the phone is placed in landscape mode. This is not rocket science.
