That’s a really a profound insight by Jimmy Carr about “the people who need it”. I’ve been to a lot of comedy shows and 99% of the time I’m great. I arrive in great form and I leave in great form. But on one occasion a few years ago I went to a show after a bad medical diagnosis; looking back it was the best show I’ve ever attended. For two hours I just forgot and during my recovery, whenever times were tough, I just went back to that time. It got me through a lot of challenging times.

It's the thing that some don't realise when it comes to comedians, they are all playing a character. As they say here, they switch it on when needed. That character may be based on some semblance of reality but it isn't really them.

Jimmy is really funny on his own, but his snarky nature makes it even more funny when he's struck funny by something a panelist says & laughs that genuine, hard, braying laugh.

Coronavirus - half time for life. I couldn’t agree more. I’ve really used this time to stock of where I’m at, where I’m heading.

Yay!!!!! My 2 favourite hosts of BFQOTY! (Hey, as far as I’m concerned, Rob’s coup was a win for Rob! Therefore he was the host, even if it was just for a few moments). I miss the Puppetto hairstyle of Jimmy’s.
When will DAVID MITCHELL be on? I simply adore the chemistry between David and Rob. Also Lee Mack MUST be on too.

After having seen him front for The Who for so many years, I find it great to see Rob branching out into comedy. Good Luck, Rob!
