Love your videos, keep them coming! I picked up Sniper Elite 4 as soon as it was released. It was a favorite from my console gaming days. I play on a 11' M4 iPadPro. Only "issue" i noticed is popups while zooming in and out with the binoculars. Very little, but noticeable. Otherwise, this game is VERY playable. I tried with both controller and on screen controls and both work just fine. Those with a history playing the game may want to invest in a controller, the on screen controls settings have to be tweaked. I purchased the full game already, well worth the money (25 USD)
Thanks for mentioning the controller support, I was about to ask the question if it’s supported as the App Store doesn’t mention it…. Well not here in Australia anyway
Perhaps, but instead of mostly complaining, let’s appreciate the effort it takes to bring AAA games to the iPhone and iPad. Because if people keep complaining and not buying, after these few ports commissioned by Apple, we might not see any more in the future. So, let’s appreciate what we have.
@@KicksonAcapulco13-no5rdtrue, right now it's near test faze, other developers and studios will be watching to see the numbers, if they don't sell they won't spend the time which equals money to port it
@@KicksonAcapulco13-no5rd100 % it’s amazing that they are bringing AAA games to phone. I have RES 2 and will be buying this, the more people who back this, the more phone companies will focus on games for phones with higher settings in the future.
Re2 doesn’t really run at a locked 60 on iPhone though. It throttles and drops below this even at 720 performance mode. It’s also a very different game to this, so it’s not fair to compare them.
For those having issue where the game hangs on the game title loading screen a tickets have been submitted to Rebellion. I’m waiting on a response to mine, too.
Is there any specific situation that triggers this issue? I’ve been playing for 2 days on both iPhone and Mac, and I haven’t experienced any crashes. Maybe it’s worth reinstalling the game? Sometimes, with an unstable internet connection, data integrity can get corrupted, so reinstalling might help.
Don’t know if this is anything but heard if you use iCloud for save game it hangs so try to use local if possible until it’s fixed at least. Don’t know if it helps but.
@@KicksonAcapulco13-no5rd Might be, ended up reinstalling most of my games today due to a APFS corruption lol. Will test again w/o iCloud Drive to see if it helps, others seem to indicate it's fine. I've also heard that iPad & iPhone don't have this issue.
love everyone of your videos! Just curious, what are you using to record your intro? Because I know for a fact the iPhone 16 camera is amazing quality, just doesn't seem to reflect what you're recording for your IRL clips. Just curious. your quality for everything else is above exceptional, which is also why i was curious :)
@@MrMacRight i gotcha, yeah just with some natural light from a window at my desk i've had some amazing results with video quality. its kind of insane! especially coming from the iphone 12 pro max. KEEP UP THE AMAZING WORK!!
The iOS version needs better graphics and fps. Rebellion may think that the performance of the iPhone and Switch is close. they are actually underestimating the performance of the A18Pro.
True but better visuals mean shorter battery time and more heat. Game is very optimized as it is (honestly, despite the semi-open world, the game consumes very little battery, allowing for several hours of gameplay on an iPhone. It’s one of the games with the lowest battery drain).
Try to install it again. It's working fine on my M1 mini. Sometimes digital game can download corrupted data on unstable internet connection. I had a few cases in the past where, due to an unstable internet connection, some digital games didn’t work properly because the files weren’t consistent. I downloaded the game again, and everything worked fine afterward.
There's none - it's good and bad thing. Good because game is really well optimized, just like for consoles. Bad because we can't tweak visuals (still it's a fun game)🙂
I love the game, I own and played every one of them on my PC and I know how good SE4 graphically can be. It is very disappointing that devs didn’t offer a mobile gamers an option to configure graphics, or at least offer some graphical profiles like “Quality” and “Performance”. I have an M4 iPad Pro and this device can handle much better graphics/framerate than the game offers by default. I will not buy it in the current state, image quality is disappointing on 13 inch device.
You have right not to buy. Keep in mind that chasing fps and visuals never was a main goal on mobile (it's always a compromise between visuals, passive cooling, battery and heat). If game will sell poor, probably 60FPS will never will be added. I bought Sniper Elite 4 and I’ve been playing for a few days. It's a nice game. 🙂 Keep in mind that iPad on M4 is still an iPad. If you want 60FPS you can play this game on Mac - it's universal app, buy once and play on iPhone, iPad and Mac (cross-save via iCloud included).
A bad port because the developers actually considered things like optimization for mobile devices, thought about throttling, and understood that smartphones, especially passively cooled ones, require a different approach to porting? Hey, these are mobile devices, and everyone expects them to perform as if they were large consoles or PCs. These are mobile devices, so there always HAS to be a compromise between performance, power, and battery life. Just enjoy the game-it’s worth it. 🙂 I understand the developers because they made the port. They didn’t split it into separate versions for weaker iPads and more powerful ones-there’s one version for iPhones, one for iPads, and Macs. But if the developers had to fine-tune optimizations for every possible configuration, the port simply wouldn’t have been profitable.

For anyone that has the game hang on the loading screen on Mac, copy the launcher from ‘applications’ to your user folder and run it from there
30fps is pathetic on the 16pm. Re2 can run 60 and it looks way better

Great release - playing it from yesterday on iPhone 15 Pro and Mac Mini M1 (30FPS cap on iPhone is totally fine for me).

Works fine in my Mac. M4 mini Pro, ultra settings, metal off and never goes below 60 fps.

What mouse you using and settings on Mac for mouse?
Think it will work on my M1 iMac?

There is no native version of Sniper Elite 4 on Android.
Mac Studio M1 Max 24 GPU Cores I can Play on 200 % and Metal with over 50 FPS in 4K. 2.5 K it hast over 70 FPS
