Mafumafu said he'd prefer the mean one because he cannot stand untidy people inside his personal space, while Eve went for the one who's untidy because tidiness is something you can learn, but personalities don't change.
Also Eve said something like "imagine she accidently eats something rotten because she's so untidy, wouldn't that be cute?" Eve aka Mr Gap Moe truly is an unstoppable force

I think he's right too, when you love a person, you do more effort with cleaning yourself and your house because you don't want to appear dirty. Whereas when you have a mean personality, you don't care about what others think of you, so you make no effort to change
