🇴🇲SALALAH, OMAN - Cristina is a remarkable lady who lives in Oman and recently converted to Islam.
She grew up in a typical Italian Catholic family. Initially, her conversion was a way of exploring the spiritual side of life that she felt was missing in her upbringing. However, as she continued to learn more about the religion, she found herself drawn to its teachings and values.
She was particularly attracted to the sense of community and support that Islam offered, which she found to be much more meaningful than anything she had experienced before. Over time, she has come to feel a great sense of joy and satisfaction in her chosen faith, and she is passionate about sharing her story with others.
She is an amazing friend who I will always be grateful to have in my life.

    WHO AM I?
In 1999 I volunteered in an orphanage in Kenya and it changed my life. I then worked in Albania with unprivileged girls and kids for 3 years. I came back to Italy and started teaching at primary school but I wasn't happy.
So in 2010 I took the decision to follow my passion, not my pension. I first volunteered in Cambodia for a year, then opened a blog and travelled around South East Asia, China, Iran and Oman, always showing the lives of real locals, away from the tourist spots.
My goal - my mission in life - has always been to inspire people to be brave, follow their passion, open their minds and discover the kindness of other people and cultures.

Islam is the only authentic religion in the world as Allah Himself has taken this guarantee that not a single word or comma or sentence is changed or can be changed till the end of this universe or qayamat and the other religious texts have been corrupted or altered by people with time .. and this life is like a drop in an ocean ,the afterlife after death is the one that is indefinite and that is the reward that we get if we follow a noble and a life according to quran and hadith and Muslims live this life according to Islam to get the rewards for that afterlife and we Muslims have a strong faith in Allah ,his book and his prophet and you cannot find this strong faith in other religions or people..May Allah give you hidayath and you chose the right path i.e Islam

Amazing story, I converted 17 years ago, best decision ever. There is more than one hadith about covering the face, it's not culture, it's from Islam. And in Quran it's clear order to wear the hijab, which is not just scarf, but full body, dressing modestly is a blessing anyway and an honour.

    • @Enne-
      @Enne- ปีที่แล้ว

Covering the face is not from Islam. Proof: you cannot pray with your face covered, you cannot perform the pilgramage/hajj or Umrah with face covered.

Interesting question. On August 2, 2011, the Italian Parliament's Constitutional Affairs Committee approved a draft law banning women from wearing full-face veils in public. The ban includes the burqa and the niqab but also for example a motorbike helmet. It basically prohibits the use of protective headgear or any other means to make recognition of a person difficult, in public places or places open to the public, without justified reason.

What a beautiful story. It's inspiring hearing the stories and the jounrey to Islam. I would like to correct the sister about wearing hijab. It is actually in many places in the Quran as an obligation and not just for prayer.
Allah says: "And tell the believing women to reduce [some] of their vision and guard their private parts and not expose their adornment except that which [necessarily] appears thereof and to wrap [a portion of] their headcovers over their chests and not expose their adornment except to their husbands, their fathers, their husbands' fathers, their sons, their husbands' sons, their brothers, their brothers' sons, their sisters' sons, their women, that which their right hands possess, or those male attendants having no physical desire, or children who are not yet aware of the private aspects of women." 24:31

Amazing vlog and such a wonderful story to hear!
Just for clarification Hijab is not a part of an Arabian culture like she said but it's a part of Islamic culture.
The Quran as well the Sunnah do obligate men and women to cover themselves in these cases:
Its obligatory for women to cover their whole body except the face and the hands in front of non-mahram (all men except the husband and his father and his sons, her father, grandpas, brothers, sons, grandsons, uncles, nephews, and stepfather). she can show her legs (not including the thighs) and her whole arm and hand, her neck and her hair in front of mahram. in front of women, she has to cover the area between the navel and the knee.
men have to cover their body between the navel and the knee in front of everyone. but it's better to cover the chest and the back especially in front of women.
married couple can see their whole partner body.
In Islam not doing an obligatory deed or doing a prohibited action means that you are sinful, but it doesn't necessary mean that you're going to hell, cause God may forgive these sins.

For your information, Islam is the only religion that recognizes and respects the rights of women, and gives them a high status so that they can be respected by their children, husband, and society. I want to add another piece of information. We read in the Qur’an that there were books that God revealed to the prophets who preceded Muhammad, such as the Bible, the Torah, the Psalms, the Qur’an, and the Torah is the book. The one who was sent down to Jesus, who preceded Islam, and all religions with God are Islam, but with the difference of civilizations and histories, they were called by different names, but the books that Christ has now with what is called the Bible is completely fake, and we can verify that because there are more than one copy and each one differs from the other, but The Qur’an is one and cannot be forged, because if it is forged, any Muslim can notice it because they memorize it in their hearts.

I guarantee that if you read it, you will be fully convinced that it is TRUE .

Very refreshing to watch two ladies enjoying themselves! Can you answer my following questions?
    1. Have you experienced racism or arrogance in people there?
    2. How strong is the language barrier if one doesn't speak Arabic? How difficult it gets.
    3. Isn't weather too hot there to be enjoying tea? Is it tolerable to hang out in summer?
Thank you in advance, may Allah reward you and keep you well.

      Hi! 😊
      1. I have never experienced any racism or arrogance in Oman since 2012. There surely are some arrogant people also here like anywhere in the world, but generally speaking omani are very kind
      2. I’ve never had any problem here language wise because many people speak English. Sometimes there was some communication problem with the Bedouin women in Ash Sharqiya sands or with some people in Salalah mountains. However, even if you don’t speak Arabic you can live here with no issues.
      3. The weather is extremely hot in the north only in summer, from May to August, with temperatures that can go up to 50 degrees like nowadays in certain parts of the countries. AC is e everywhere though. Tea can be sipped outside from October to April

@@toohappytobehomesick Thank you for the response. I am an Engineering student of Water technology and Environment in Germany, and for some reason, I do not feel at home here.
This is why I am considering Oman for future residence, given its conservative lifestyle, job market in water infrastructure and treatment.
So far, the weather is the only factor that scares me.
Let's see what the future holds.

At the time of the video, all questions about Islam ended, even though your nose happens to be of Abrahamic origin
    - In fact, Islam or the book of Islam (the Qur’an) is the teachings that were revealed to our master Abraham and the commandment of the covenant that was revealed to the Prophet of God, Moses, and was abrogated in the Holy Qur’an, as well as what came in the revolution and what came in the Bible. Al-Karim is today from 1400 years to today, no text or word has changed in it, and it was confirmed 1400 years ago, there was no printing or widespread codification, even though the ancient Roman state was based on the guardianship of the covenant of our master Moses, and it was called the Law of Solagh
He went back and confirmed the last version of the Bible that was corrected during the time of the British King Arthur, while the Qur’an is the same and has not changed.
[12] From the Almighty’s saying: {On the Day We roll up the sky like a record for the books} verse 104 to His saying: {And We did not send you except as a mercy to the worlds} verse 107
    - And the record is the same as Einstein mentioned the same rug
The other thing is that the hijab is the same as the dress of the Virgin Mary, peace be upon her and her father, the Lord Christ, may God’s peace be upon him and his nation

Aslam Alaikum to the Italian Muslim sister driving the car. You probably don't know much about Afghanistan. The people there are straight followers of Islam. The government there is trying its best to implement the Islamic system. But at the moment they are worried about the economy. The wrong image of Islam has been distorted by the media of America and Europe and not presented by Afghanistan or Muslims. Ask Allah enough and repent. May Allah grant you the opportunity to speak good things, Ameen
