The no costumes is definitely a good thing, it’s part of this channel’s charm. Getting actual costumes would kind of take away from that

Literally was I was gonna say - it ties in excellently and shows creativity, and not an uncanny valley sort of effect. Bought costumes would be generic!
I liked it, somehow it grounded the whole experience as the characters being an every man on a regular day instead of a fantasy being

What I really wanna see is one final episode that's a sorta... post-fight thing where we get to see how Gary's doing now that Steve's dead. What happened after he went through the portal, how he's dealing with Edgar's sacrifice etc etc. That'd be fun. Just a short story of the aftermath of the final battle with Steve.

The fact that you didn't plan it to he a whole story and just went with it and also managed to condense them in 60-second parts is just impressive

I couldn't agree more! I love how in simplifying all of the characters down into basic outfits, it not only allowed Jackson himself to stand out more as a creator, but also gave the characters a nice simplified feel while creating a style for the project that felt unique in it's own right, too. Truly a masterpiece of a series this was!
This was so cool to watch! I love seeing all the BTS stuff and hearing how much work goes into things like this. Just makes you appreciate the end product even more! Awesome job! 👏👏👏

Suggestion for possible season 2
• Steve respawns
• Steve teams up with Alex
• World is set to hardcore
• Last episode everyone dies but the mobs are victorious
• Bonus episode of mobs just living their lives and talking about what happened and the future
Its just the start and end the middle would be all you.
The casting was perfect for this! Will Myers' performance was an absolute treat the whole way through! While I don't agree with Ace Michaels' attitude towards this work of art, he's still a really good actor. And of course, Edgar did an impeccable job for someone who doesn't even speak the language of the production. Here's to their success!
In all seriousness, this was such a fun watch, like any other series from you. Let us celebrate the mobs' victory!

Honestly, this video is an amazing tool to help people who want to create something like this. You did something so incredibly simple in premise yet you were able to turn it into something so full of passion and talent!
What made the series so enjoyable was you. You were having fun doing this and it really shows.
The fact that Edgar is French and is the only one who changes his outfits multiple times only makes sense to me.

I think the part that wowed me the most from a technical point is Steve vs the two Piglins in the End. The Piglins move were really impressive, especially since you know, it's only you.

Season two: they either fight Alex or they fight other popular youtubers. Your minecraft series is amazing and inspiring to me, editing always seems like such difficult and time consuming work but when the video finally comes out a good job really pays off.

An idea that I just had for one final episode is that Gary is flying through the end portal, he’s having flashback from his journey, and he realizes that Barry’s head is still on the wall, so Gary gets a note block and Barry’s head and ‘reboots’ Barry’s consciousness by placing his head on the note block
Because skull on note block creates the mobs noise!!!
I really like the no costumes just shirts and pants matching the characters adds that level of normal people just trying to do their thing
You could have made a matrix room (Room with all interior surfaces covered in glow item frames filled with singe colored maps, placed down a barrier block and thrown a trident at that barrier block. Then you could have easily gone into spectator mode and gotten perfect screenshots for a trident at any angle with easy to key out backgrounds

This is actually really inspiring... the fact that you find creative ways even though you don't have access to fancy special equipments or software, yet still made an amazing series, just goes to show that you can make anything look amazing if you put enough work into it. Welp, no excuses now to not do something because of "lack of equipment"

This series still makes up my favorite youtube shorts ever, you have a really funny comedy style and mixing that in with a parody take on minecraft plus a confusingly moving storyline was just awesome to watch happen. I had never anticipated a youtube short’s release before, so congrats on that 😂
Also, in case you think all your viewers are children (which is fine!), i’m married and in my mid 20’s and i still thought this was incredibly well done

I remember watching the first part to this series, and I have enjoyed every part of it, it's always good to see a new perspective of things.
Honestly, the 'bad' costumes are part of why it is so good. I'm sure proper costumes would increase the higher production feel, and perhaps increase immersion. You did a terrific job regardless of the props used however.
Edgar just stood their… but just so, emotionally.

Just want to say, that the minecraft movie series you made was awesome! Alongside all of your other ones too lol. The Safety Audit ones I think are my personal favourite! Also, I appreciate you mentioning what keyframes, I'm quite new to video editing myself and now that I know what that actually is. Now I can start to use them in my own stuff and hopefully make better videos than before! I know it sounds a little dumb that I found out this way rather than looking it up, but I genuinely didn't know what it was that allowed png/objects to move across the screen and honestly thought it was some sort of effect or dynamic zoom "thing" that I just was missing.
So seriously thank you for that and the videos you make. They are always great to watch!

I remember years back, being a kid and watching Minecraft animations on the computer after school. A decade on, and your one man series feels like a beautiful homage to storytelling and the medium of video games as a shared experience. I absolutely love the Minecraft series and your dedication is unmatched ❤
The setup is crazy, very little room to do stuff and you're able to make such awesome stuff, imagine what you could make with way more resources.
You should make one for terraria next. I think that would blow up as well. Although that might be too much work, but parodies of different games and turning them into a series like this will definitely rack you up more subs.
Seeing the process behind the whole production really makes me appreciate the whole series even more. Great work mate!

I never actually noticed it when watching, but the idea that every episode is its own story about mobs and can be watched separately while maintaining a general plot is VERY cool. Just makes series easy to watch even if you skip a few episodes or watching them in random order. Definitely will watch something like that again

I really love behind the scenes content, so this is amazing! I think people tend to forget that just because a video/piece of media is short doesn’t mean it’s simple to make. This was a truly fascinating look into this amazing series

This was really cool! One thing I'd like to say is that for the shots where you couldn't find the right angle for certain things it may have been possible to get those pictures in game yourself, at any angle you want thanks to commands. You can completely pause time now in the new version with the /tick command
I know that there is no way this gets anywhere near the views that one of the regular videos get but I really enjoyed it and I would love to see more
