I us3d to use them pre-2019 (before I got married), and they were bad. Don't get me wrong, but this is something totally different I've never seen before
They can be rough but both me and my sister met our partners on apps, me on hinge and her on tinder. I think hinge is generally better, people are taking it a bit more seriously.
As a strong 6 out of 10 guy, tinder has been good to me for the most part.

I would never trust one. That said it's important to remember that a lot of the really insane ones are people just fucking around for the fun of it. Either being dicks just to be dicks or putting the most insane thing they can think of in their profile just to see who will match them (like a full profile of hot pics and then a pregnant sonic, that reads like someone just seeing how far they can push it).

Also, if you go to college straight out of high school and take 4 years for undergraduate degree, a senior would be 22 years old.

Yeah, in America they use the same wording for high school as they do for college. By asking what they were majoring it, he was asking if they were a senior in college. Majoring refers to what college degree you’re going for

I used tinder to go on a date. They seemed nice, met up. They were twice the age they said and boy they did not look like their profile pic. Date was the worst. Ended things as soon as I could. We both paid for our own share of the meal. 2 days later they message me saying I should pay them back because they wasted money on the date.
We were both woman and had already agreed that paying our own way was the thing to do. But because I choose not to continue I wasted not only their time but money aswell and they needed to be paid back.
I didn't and just blocked them cause really. Then 2020 happened, so I couldn't date. And honestly I've never been happier. Single and never going to mingle. Beer and batteries 🔋 is all I need.

In the US there are 4 years of high school and 4 standard years of college. You can be a senior in High School or a senior in College. That being said, I believe the person he was talking to was a high schooler, because we dont generally refer to the college year starting as "school starting" as its usually only used to refer to high school.

To answer your question, yes, we use the high school terms (freshman, sophomore, junior, and senior) in college. The creep also asked what the other person was majoring in, so definitely college.
Not necessarily, when I was a senior in hs I was asked multiple times what I was majoring in.
