But you can see thestrals after the opening cutscene to the game so it would make sense

As soon as you get the Demiguise Moon quests, do them ASAP. It’s so easy to unlock Alohomora level III early on and you’ll be encountering so many locked doors through out the game that you’ll regret not being able to unlock them the first time you encounter them.
There are plenty of moons to collect in the immediate area inside Hogwarts and you can look up a guide to make the process even quicker. At least get the enough required for Level III of the spell and leave the rest up for your adventure.
Me literally just did the first mission bet
I’d just like to make people aware to hand in exactly how many moons for each step. I had 9 remaining on the last part of the quest but had 10 in my inventory and when I went to the quest it bugged out and I got the finishing dialogue but no reward and the quest didn’t pop to be finished. This prevented me starting some new quests and there was no fix. Lost 3 hours of gameplay/quests and went back to an old save and did it with exact change and quest completed now. Hopefully the new patch has fixed this bug too.

Does anyone know at all where to hand in the rest of the moons, after completing the quest? Obviously Mr Moon isn’t outside the faculty tower anymore, so I can’t hand them in as you would in the quest
Here’s a very important tip from someone who’s already beaten the game twice: EXPLORE EVERYWHERE. Don’t immediately try to rush the missions and story, and instead look around and have fun in the open world.

Idk I kinda disagree. That’s what I did… and then when I started doing the main mission is was way to OP and over leveled. I wish I focused on doing the main missions first

It’s not all that. All it does is show all chests on the map(the MINI-map 🙄) for one in-game day(48 minutes).

yes, i think you have to get all the daedillian keys to unlock the chest

Something your video is incorrect about you can’t fly any mounts right away.
You unlock them after a certain story mode quest. For instance even if you just focus on the quest line you’re probably gonna be playing for about four hours before you get the broom and probably around 10 to 15 hours before you get the hippogriff.
@matthewv5953 you have to focus on main story for a bit to access certain side quests, flying and mounts come with attendance to classes so by two full days of night/day you should be able to

Kind of a waste when I unlocked that armor but out level it fast, and not enough inventory space in the begging too.
You can change the appearance of your armor to everything you ever owned, even if you sold it.
I got the beaked masked but not the robes :(

The robe is from collecting a Daedalian keys
The Dandy Lion keys are the keys that have wings you find throughout the castle of Hogwarts. You cannot get the last three until you have the alohomora unlock spell.

its too bad that the only real unlocks in this game are cosmetic, i found hunting for secrets very unrewarding as best case you can get comsetics and blueprints, and worst case you just get more "legendary items" that are all mundane and pointless once you have all the traits unlocked.

If you are talking about the clothing they are only available as transmog
It could be appearance only, so you would hut Square or whatever it is for the others. It doesn't prompt you to use the button to customize appearance

It's a PlayStation exclusive mission involving a haunted house which gives you an access to your own shop where you can sell items for higher prices.

@@ArtilleryBound For me it unlocked during winter/christmas time. It's a side quest marker in Hogsmeade and you have to talk to a house elf to start it.

Its a skin just change appearance

Guys can the dark arts armor and the last one be obtained by playing the game itself?
I bought the deluxe edition and I have all the cosmetics in the inventory but they’re nowhere to be found in the gear selection
You can only use them to change appearance. On PS5, hover over which piece of equipment you want to modify, then just press square instead of X and you can customize the appearance.
I did this and never got the mfing robe. Just the mask which i didnt even care about

I pre ordered, and finished the game and post game without ever unlocking my additional content. Onyx hyppogrif, thestral etc its cool and all. But these thing should have just been in the game for everyone imo.

I agree with the thestral being a mount everyone can get in game because you can literally catch them but I’m glad the onyx is pre order exclusive it makes a lot more enjoyable to have even though this game had a lot of preorders

the dark arts stuff is just a visual so if you hover over a piece of gear and press x/square you can change the looks

Nothing, the wand options are purely cosmetic

It’s not even that, I linked accounts and did a bunch of stuff and still am limited on a lot, I never got the stuff I was suppose to for linking my accounts, and other then that it’s still fine as a base game, if dlc is the reason the games worth anything, then it’s not a good game is it, so it don’t really bother me that much, cause it’s a good game regardless 🤷🏼♀️
I’ve never played a game like this. My brain and hands don’t connect very fast(few seconds). I heard that there was an easy mode? I would play it on the PC. It looks incredible but I’m scared to buy it and struggle playing it.
Yeah there is an easy mode you'll do just fine it's not like a fromsofrware game where you get destroyed I'm on the hardest difficult and I'm doing the tradional do every side quest before doing the next main mission strategy and I'm level 31 and I'm one shooting enemies 2-3 levels higher then me I have 0 challenge in the game I'd imagine if you played on easy you'd have a very pleasurable experience the castle is worth it man jump on in :)

You need to find 16 house tokens and unlock a special chest in your dorm room
Ok but when does that side quest pop up in hogsmead?
Once you finished the 2nd trial, there will be a quest with Poppy. Fire and Vice. After that quest, it pops up next to the broom shop.

Can you do how to claim the hipogriff/threstrals
Keep progressing through the story, you will unlock them when you get a flying beast in the atory
The black hippogriff is only available to those who pre-ordered or got that game early. But once you've done that quest where you save the hippogriffs with Natty you'll get the mount. The thestral you can buy whenever, it's like an addition to the game. But might I add it's the same case for the black hippogriff. You will have to complete the quest to obtain to mount.
